What????

Have you not seen Captain America: The First Avenger?

It is the Strategic Scientific Reserve... The branch that Captain America Lead to wipe out Hydra. It was renamed to SHIELD at some point not long before IM1.

Yeah Steve wore two shirts. one BEFORE he became Cap and they put one on him after they thawed him out at the end of First Avenger, but yeah it means Strategic Scientific Reserve like Pete said

Popped in to Toys-R-Us today and they were unloading boxes of Avengers stuff on to a giant display by the door. I couldn't wait for them to unpack it all but lot's of cool new stuff. Saw (and bought) a bunch of pool stuff including beach balls, dive masks and a big Avengers body board. Going back tomorrow to see what else they were unloading.

That's like finding Tees like that for Thor. there are limited version but all sold online.
I found a decent design on SpreadShirt. I'm going to get it (hopefully on time) and buy these LED battery powered lights on Amazon. Using a simple foam circle, like you buy in the home-garden section of any store, I am going to make a light pad, put it under the design with fabric glue, and run the battery pack to my pocket. Should be ok for one night.

I've seriously been considering buying one of these to wear when I go see it. It's quite a nice piece.

I got an awesome Avengers shirt at Kohls on Friday for only 10 bucks.

It has the big 4's faces on it. Cap on top, followed by Tony, Hulk & then Thor, the rest of the shirt is a cool gray/black mix color. I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet to post a pic though, strange. Does anyone have a pic of it, so I can show it off?

My 2 year old plays with the 4 inch figures of the 'big 4' on the regular.
Her fav seems to be 'Eyeman!' (Ironman) at the moment.
I think it's from watching that 3D cartoon on Netflix about a teen Tony/Shellhead.
Needless to say we walked in Target the other day and she made me put on the Avengers IM mask.
I HAD to walk around with that thing on for a couple of aisles until some Sesame Street swag caught her eye.

So where, in your guys opinions, would be the best place to get an Avengers t-shirt? I've seen some of you say that Kohls is probably the best place. Would you all agree with that? I just need something to wear opening night.

I'm very conflicted on whether to get the Fusion Armor Mark VII figure with that stupid shield that is already out or to wait for the possible Hall of Armor Version ):

Oooh, where did you get that one? We got free shirts just like that at Comic Con last year at the Marvel booth. But I've never seen them since.

I dressed my son as Thor in last year's Halloween, but because I let him watch Nick Jr. pretty much everyday he hasn't become a big Marvel fan like I am yet. I'm hoping that I'll let him watch some Avengers: EMH cartoon once he is a little older, and see if he will become a fan after that.

Btw, I really like that Kohl's T-shirt. Might have to find a time to go there and check it out.

FYI- Back to Toys-R-Us today and they have a ton of new stuff now. Walkie Talkies shaped like Thor's Hammer/Iron Man's Head and a set with an "A" and Cap, watches, ditigal camera with different Avenger face plates, eye vision flashlight goggles, 3D Marvel art, transforming cars, all kinds of stuff. Fun to stand in front of that giant 20 foot tall display!
