She wasn't great but she was definitely better than Megan Fox. She felt more natural in her scenes where as Megan Fox felt like she was reading from a cue card off screen.

I felt she had a bit more chemistry with Shia too. I think when you compare her and Fox, looks wise, a guy like Shia is more likely to get a girl that looks like Rosie than a girl that looks like Fox...i'm just saying....

At least with Fox's character, you could kinda buy it, simply because of the **** they went through. If it wouldn't have been for the Transformers, they wouldn't have got close to each other at all.
With Rosie's character, she seems to be like the new hot chick of the week, that Sam somehow landed.

I'm sorry but I still say Megan was way better. People may grip on Megan's acting but I thought she had way more personality than Rosie. She came across as the random supermodel walking through the room. Plus her speech to Megatron was random because it was clearly written for Megan's character.

Megan Fox always came across as a cold, pretentious little witch even when she was acting. There wasn't really much reason to believe Sam liked her other than because she was hot. RHW may not have been an upgrade in the acting department but at least she has a natural warmth and friendliness about her that made her a believable love interest. She might not be the greatest actress but she was at least likeable, which is more than I can say about Fox.

Even though I liked Carly, she was a very bland and uninteresting addition. I'm still not convinced by her overly simplistic small talk, the small talk that she had with Megatron.

lol, Storm had more lines in the first Xmen movie. @Pyro i guess Ocri was taking into account how many hot girls we knew in HS went out with Fugly guys. finally it becomes a real shard of truth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Saw it last night, the critics are the same ones who raved about AIRBENDER and TWILIGHT (how they couldnt connect BUFFY & ANGEL to this z-level ripoff i will never know). great movie glad to see ROADBLOCK and DUKE again (tyrese and josh) so she can act , its just not written for her role to speak that much ...dont hate on pouting ROFL. and to be honest , if a critic is mad at her trying to act obviosly they never saw a porno , the scripted acting is waaaaay worse

Honestly I thought her acting was good! TBH I got more heart from her charatcer than Meagan Fox's, the relationship felt more natural...real, it had depth, I think because of Sam's break-up w/Mikeala he really wanted to make this 1 work.
The reason why she's being scrutinzed because she's a high profile model and like singers' when they venture off to acting some get it pretty hard in the press or pass w/flying colors...Personally she was stunning in the film & her accent is cute!!! Good job Rosie!!!! A little more practice and she'll get better in time... |

I didn't think she was bad, she just didn't have a lot to work with. It was a very undemanding role to say the least.

What I do not get is how "Sam" somehow hooks up with 2 hot model type women. (3 if you include the Descepti-Chick in ROTF). I mean he is not that good looking, the character of Sam is kinda of a goof.
I Would have liked it if his "Gf" was an average "pretty" actress who could, well I dunno.. Act. oh well.. As I have not watched this yet I have no real opinion on her acting (I just do not like the fact they picked two hot women to play his love interests). I look forward to any explanation as to why he is not with Megan Fox. |

The romance in part 3 sucked . Lets be honest she was eye candy , not that Fox wasn't but at least if we could belive the marriage talk if we had her character in it still . Somehow we are just told its a serious relationship though it sounded just as much like a rebound.
Megan Fox was better and the whole ending makes a lot morse sense if she or her character was in it . They should have at the very least recast the role . |

I think they made a smart choice by having Sam's new relationship be pre-established, because then they did not have to deal with the messy issue of introducing a new character and then making her and Sam get serious over the course of 2 hours. Yeah, the role was probably originally written as Mikela, but when your lead actress decides to PMS herself off the project you have to work with what you have, and I think they did as well as they could have.
