The video on demand threw me off, thought some cable systems would just put the entire season on.

I did see the first two seasons are now much cheaper.

Watching season three episodes on VH1. Sony TV, I swear to God, if you don't put these on a real DVD set, I will burn you TO THE GROUND!

The marathon has reawakened my love for this show. I need all of the dvds. If my girlfriend doesn't buy them for me there will be a change in the regime.

Also, Casey Wilson and Elisha Cuthbert. Mi gusta.

Punch ABC in the nuts for the **** scheduling and cancellation. Punch Sony TV in the nuts for not being able to lock down another network and not even doing us the courtesy of a legit DVD release for S3.

How strange, I've literally just now been watching this show for the first time (binged through the 1st half of S2 so far), and this thread appears on the first page. Fate! This show and I are clearly soul mates. I just wish we'd met sooner.

Also, the show seems to have accomplished the greatest supernatural feat of all: it managed to completely erase my hatred of Kim Bauer. Good timing too, because my mom just got into the 1st season of 24 for the first time, and seriously, my Kim hate is just...gone. Thank you, Happy Endings. Alex Kerkovich is awesome.

Yeah, S1 had it's great moments, but there are too many episodes where they hadn't committed to who the characters would end up being. Both Alex and Dave were just the standard Ross-and-Rachel lead couple, instead of her being the adorable idiot and him being .... however you would describe what he ended up being. The chameleon? I don't know. I just know he was less hilarious in the early days.

I think Dave had a few funny lines in S1, Alex was completely useless. But yeah season 2 is when things really gets good

I actually hated season one because the characters were all so undefined. They all seemed like generic sitcom people who used the same snark.

Season two greatly improved on the characters and brought me around to the show.

Agreed. I like Community, but it's past its prime, imo. I'm currently on the 3rd and final season of Happy Endings, and I feel like it's still firing on all cylinders.

I used to love Community, but it's way past it's prime now. I feel like it getting another season is just cause of the whole "six seasons and a movie" thing . Happy Endings definitely deserved another season or two.

Just watched the one with Mark Paul Gosselar, and lol at Alex saying they need to "contact CTU" when he goes missing. A little disappointing that they didn't get Kiefer Sutherland to play Papa Kerkovich now that I think about it.
