Cool. I would have liked ILM as a first choice, but this is a pretty darn good one too. Poor Spidey is stuck with Sony again, no?

Yeah Spidey is stuck with Sony Imageworks, again.

They're alright but they're no ILM or WETA. I'm beyond happy that MOS has WETA handling its effects. It's a blessing really.

They're pretty damn good as well. MOS is going to look brilliant.

Once that trailer hits I think a lot of mouths are going to drop instantly.

Gillberg over on the Batman boards said that this movie is coming together really well and that WB and Nolan are pleased with what they've seen so far. I think Snyder's done it!

He also said that there's supposedly still talks within the studio on moving up the film back to its original winter date due to how impressed the studio are with the footage.

Here's to hoping that it's true.

Make no mistake, Superman will be awesome. They're really kicking all kinds of ass over there on production. The studio is loving the stuff coming out of there, and Nolan is apparently very pleased with what he's seen. There's even talk of getting out early in winter 2012 as originally planned.

I've heard they're still following their original production schedule, so if they really wanted to, they could move the film back up to this year. As long as everything comes together nicely, I'm all for it.

When he said "toned down", I think he just means not as over the top and ridiculous.

Sounds like this film will be set in a realistic setting as expected. Sounds good.

well to be fair sucker punch warranted all that stylized cgi look it was a sci fi dark fantasy dream world film with orcs,zombies,dragons,robots,etc.

it is not like it was an out of place look and style the story backed up the look and tone

Yeah, it was a great looking videogame, and I don't mean that in a derogatory sense. I loved the action. You can tell he was having fun with all those crazy sequences.

Man, I would seriously FREAK OUT (in a good way.lol) if the studios pushed MOS back to its original air date.

It beats having to personally wait another 6 months and endure a hellish semester of film school to see Superman back on the big screen, and hell, if it were moved back to its original airdate, then we would get a full theatrical trailer by the time TDKR came out I think.
