For everyone who HASN'T watched the teaser

I'm sure (and hope) that I'm not the only one who hasn't watched the teaser yet. I am truly trying my absolute hardest to keep away from anything that could be considered spoilerish and it seems to be getting more difficult. I was quite enjoying reading and taking part in the "TDKR Teaser and Poster Coming!" thread in the spoilers section (going completely against what I previously mentioned, I know. But there was nothing else going on anywhere in this thread!), but now that the teaser has unfortunately leaked, I can't go onto it, as there is discussion as to what happened in it.
Call me old fashioned, but I really want to be surprised when I get to see the teaser OFFICIALLY. The latest I've heard is that it should be online on Monday at some point. That's not too far away, right?
So, who's with me? Anyone else sticking to their laurels and waiting (and is excited) for Monday?

I'm hoping for that as well, but I don't want to put my hopes up too high just in case my cinema doesn't get it with it, which in probability is quite high as i'm in the UK.

I Can't see it with the potter movie, because most likely it won't be there (at least not in México). so I'm waiting for it to be oficially online.

This is a good moment to migrate from the spoiler section to the no-spoiler section of these forums...

I feel ya man...there are some HUGE spoilers in that thread. I went in thinking it wasn't leaked yet, and I got a bit of info and pics...but they were all assorted and I couldn't put them together. One thing I found irritating was that I saw a picture of one of the actors on set (completely unrelated to the thread), and it may have actually ruined a part of the movie for me had I not known what happens to that actor's character. For those of you who saw it too, you know what I'm talking about.

I've learned my lesson from Red Dead Redemption. I am staying clear from that thread until I see the trailer with Harry Potter. Even then, I'm tempted to actually avoid that forum until the movie comes out. I can wait.

I've had similar problems! Trying to keep clear of things and then you innocently go onto something and BOOM! Spoiler.
The massive one that happened to me was when reports were going around about an actor possibly being cast. Many were reporting it could be a massive spoiler. So I thought it would be safest to not go onto the spoiler thread. It was all going well. Then, I went onto imdb and this massive spoiler bit of casting was listed on the cast list! I was so angry/annoyed.
Even though the teaser can't really be considered a spoiler as it will be released in the next few days, I want to wait for the official version.

Yeah, that was a huge spoiler for me, too, and I did exactly what you did, went to IMDB to check out the film...boom. But here's the thing: If you just search "IMDB The Dark Knight Rises", you can see that character in the tags before even clicking on the link! Ridiculous.

Then again, knowing that character is in this movie, I can go back and watch Batman Begins with added interest before I see the third installment. So I guess that's a plus.

Thing is, I'm not dumb, so if I get a few words and pictures I'll start framing the plot in my head and finding out certain events. It's basic human intuition that we honestly can't avoid.

People usually pick on those who scream "spoilers" every second, and while I don't whine about every single thing (I had no trouble finding out the main cast), finding out certain parts of a movie does ruin the experience. When I went into Batman Begins, the one reason I loved it so much was I didn't expect anything...I just saw a poster or two.

That's the magic of cinema...so I'm trying my best to keep that with this one. The Dark Knight gave us a brilliant viral campaign because the majority of the videos and information existed outside of the actual movie.

You guys remember that documentary on Bruce Wayne? Yeah, they actually did mock interviews of Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent unseen in the actual movie. Brilliant.

I have chosen to go spoiler free for TDKR. I have not seen the trailer and I'm ok with that.

Oh, I'm sure I will sooner or later. But, if not life goes on. 7-20-2012 will be more enjoyable.
