I wouldn't say half, It will definitely do well, It won't beat TDKR, probably ASM. It won't beat TDK, It certainly won't touch Harry Potter, I don't think any film next year will.

I guess we'll hafto agree to disagree. I certainly cannot agree with someone who gave Thor a 9.5

well the guy has called the tdk and tdkr teaser trailers crap and is praising the avengers trailer so highly while putting down a recently released teaser trailer and a teaser trailer released 3 years ago so in all honesty he is coming off as a bit fan boyish lol
the avengers trailer was good, i enjoyed, its what i expected from this movie and its exactly what i feel that i'm gonna get, i also enjoyed the dark knight rises teaser trailer...it struck me more emotionally that the movie will be heavily influenced by much darker themes than the previous 2, although i hate the inclusion of old footage and some of the tag lines, the trailer gave you that sense of urgency on the direction the film is heading towards when it comes to the main character |

hes entitled to his opinion of course but this thread will most likely cause a flame war...i mean look at the opening post..."its better than TDKR" i'm mainly on the bat boards which is pretty harsh already lol but we all have to come to the inclusion that most people wont like neither of these trailers....imo the spiderman teaser i just saw was better than both

I didn't like the Spider-Man teaser. TDKR teaser didn't tell me all that much, but it was good. Just not great.

As for the spiderman teaser, it was probably my second favourite with Avengers still at the top. I liked everything shown in the spiderman one but just wasn't enough footage of spidey himself to quench my thirst.

I really liked spidey's trailer. TDKR's was simply lame.
Avenger's was the real deal!

Tried watching the teaser, and all I could find was some crap-ass copy where I could only barely make out the first couple of lines of dialogue. Did you guys see something of better quality? Because, honestly, I can't imagine getting into a pissing contest over teasers until something of better quality comes out.

I am thinking about doing a MARVEL movie montage but should it be just with The Avengers members from their solo movies & when the new Teaser releases or do everyone such as Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Elektra, Spider-Man, X-Men etc
Opinions ? Last edited by Donut; 07-19-2011 at 12:21 PM. |

The TDKR teaser is the only one I've seen in HQ, but what I got from all 3 was that they all would offer something very different next summer, and all got me more interested in them.

This was pretty cool, can't wait to see what Whedon does with his shot. I just hope Cap holds his own and has gumption. When I seen bruce banner I sighed in light of how magical Norton would have been in the his shoes.
Overall it looks really good, and I'm glad marvel finally got a real vision behind one of their films. This not being a Favreau film, Widow might actually do something outside of pose for the camera.
