Day to night Bay-esque time error aside, the Golden Gate Bridge scene is an epic Magneto moment.

The opening scene with Angel.

The death of Xavier.

Logan's walk to kill Jean.

Some bits and pieces of the cure storyline, and going with that, Beast.

And the scene where Charles and Erik recruit young Jean.

Casting Kelsey Grammer as Beast and Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde.

...and that's about it.

This may be one of my favorite scenes in a comic book movie ever.
Callisto: If you're so proud of being a mutant, where's your mark?
Magneto: I have been marked once, my dear, and let me assure you,
[pulls back his sleeve to reveal the Nazi concentration camp serial number tattooed on his arm]
Magneto: No needle shall ever touch my skin again.
Kelsey Gramar as Beast is simply a treat to watch. He feels like he stepped out of the page and was one of the best portrayals of a CB character. Ever.
Ellan Page as Kitty was fun too and I liked the president. So was Jean.
The Golden Gate Bridge scene was cool too and I loved the version of the danger room. The opening scene with Angel was very well-done.

The addition of Beast was excellent! Best part of the film!

The Last Stand has some things going for it. The flaw with the film is that it's too short, and thus doesn't flesh out any of the possibilities. With a storyline as emotionally charged as The Cure, they didn't spend any time making you care about the decision mutants like Rogue were making.

And of course Cyclops' fate. But there are some downright awesome parts of this movie, from Xavier's death to Wolverine stopping Jean, it had all the right pieces, it just wasn't executed to its full potential. It's not a bad movie like Origins, it's just half the movie it should have been.

The action scene are the best of the trilogy, unfortunately the character moments weren't there.

All in all though whilst I'd say there's only one X-Men film that's worse (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) it's still very watchable and is better than some other third entries in other comic book movie series (i.e. Spider-Man 3, Batman Forever, etc)

For me I think it's better than all those 3 can still be lumped as a missed opportunity like those but I'd say definitely a step above those.

Storm's hair was a lot better.

They got Beast pretty much perfect IMO.

The Golden Gate bridge scene was cool.

The acting overall was fine.

Agreed to all of that, well except for Storm's hair, I like her hair longer.

Famke Janssen's leggy embrace with Jackman was, uh, pleasant to look at.

Kelsey Grammer as Beast. "My stars and garters" with his voice.

It starts off pretty good, with Angel's scene in the bathroom.

And best of all: it gave me and a pretty friend from school an excuse to chat when she asked me if I had seen the post-credits scene and I said I didn't.

If u have a chance check out the extended storm and wolverine vs juggernaut at Jean's house. Excellent battle and shows off Storm's capabilities.

Hmmm...something positive about The Last Stand...It was shot in Vancouver and I saw some of the on-location filming (Angel stunt double jumps out of The Sheraton Wall Centre, at the time the city's tallest building).

I wish they film some scenes for Apocalypse in Van

Garbage all of it. Except for off-screen dialogue from R. Lee Ermey.

Going purely from memory:

  1. "Charles Xavier did more for mutants than you will ever know. My single greatest regret is that he had to die for our dream to live" Maybe the best line in the whole franchise. Highlighting their complicated relationship.
  2. Young Charles and Eric recruiting an X-Man together.
  3. young Angel clipping his wings
  4. Danger Room scene (not that great though)
  5. Kesley Grammer as Beast
  6. Ellen Page
  7. Mutant Town Hall Meeting
  8. Magento's speech at said meeting
  9. Magneto tearing apart the convoy
  10. Magneto's cold rejection of Raven and Pyro's reaction
  11. X-Men holding the line
  12. All the mutant powers on display
  13. Storm finally kicking a little ass
  14. How Kitty deals with Juggy
  15. Televised Magneto threat
  16. Multiple Man's one great moment
  17. Wolverine healing while approaching Phoenix
  18. Magneto moving the bridge. (followed by a stupid one liner)
If you can't acknowledge at least some of these you are just being a biased dbag.

Famke...hot hot hot, loved her phoenix arc. It's not talked about enough how great of an actress she is.

James...captured Cyc's angst perfectly. For such a small role, James was memorable in his final scene.

Hugh...his darkness makes Wolvy sympathetic.

Ben/Cayden...great introduction as Warren/Angel for both. Cayden's emotions poured out of the character. For Ben his short time with his pivotal scene that stood out from the others. He's such an underrated actor.

Sir Ian/Sir Patrick...phenomenal acting. The best parts were Xavier trying to tame Jean and Erik saying "Professor did more for mutants than anyone will know" and also the scenes where he was trying to influence Jean were fantastic.

Halle...I loved that she finally got to fly, if only for a short part, still enjoyed it.

Anna, Shawn, Ellen...great young cast. Ellen page is on another level with Kitty. Shawn brought the compassion to Bobby. Anna's subtly to Rogue makes her fun to watch.
