Why cancel the show?

Why cancel the show? This is my question, no end and I do not like, no Carnage, no Anti-Venom, No Gwen-Peter I think going to happen in season 3...

Disney bought Marvel and Sony didn't want to continue with the series. And it's not like Disney just didn't want to continue on from where Sony left; Disney had plans for another series, which was Ultimate Spider-Man.

This is what I understood, these companies only care about money, well, this series was great and very existence, should not take it out, but hey, if Ultimate Spiderman is a failure ... return TSSM?

It was canceled due to a series of unfortunate reasons. Stemming from kids wb ending, taking awhile for us network to pick up season two, and the whole disney merge.

No it wouldn't be able to return. Due to rights to spiderman is in marvel/disney hands. And other stuff.

It still really is very sad to know that this show was cancelled. I was VERY VERY much looking foward to a 3rd season. It really was an incredible show.

The fate of the show was sealed when the rights changed hands. They decided to launch a new show.

It wasn't just of that. The main reasons was. Kids wb block was ending, to the long wait sony had in finding a new home for season two state side, then season two airing in other countries first. Then the whole marvel/disney merger. Then when that happened sony gave the animation/tv rights back to marvel. And due to that and other legal stuff is reason tssm didn't continue.

All for useless things xD. Well, expect a similar series with the likes of Gwen or Venom of the same quality, if you like and even has better graphics, I look forward to. I hope to achieve the perfect combination which had TSSM in Ultimate, I mean the life and struggles. I hope that Gwen has the same role and personality, but it will be bad for me, loved how involved em xD.

^I agree. I really do hope Gwen won't be like the Ultimate version, but that's kind of a silly thought since this series is named after "Ultimate Spider-Man." TSSM nailed it right on with Gwen.

Of course, I hope the same Gwen, but not the same and I do not like from the beginning = D It may also be because, for example, Ultimate is not an agent of SHIELD, and the series if it is.

Sure it may be called usm. But it doesn't mean it will be 100% adapted from usm. Could be like tssm did adapt films/616 and ultimate.

True, but overall, I get too much of a "hokey" vibe in terms of some of the comedic elements from the new show. So far, JK simmons is the best cast voice over so far, IMO. He IS JJJ, and i'm sure I'll enjoy that. However, the description of the footage sounded...okay, but we'll see.

I still want The Spectacular Spider-Man show was dam nbad. It was perfect.

spectacular spider-man did well the characters, i didn't know who Liz allan was until the show appeared, flash was kinda funny and i liked the characters designs

I'm still inclined to think that the aesthetic ties to the previous films was at least a factor in the show's cancellation.
