I seem to remember Snyder or Nolan (don't remember which one) also talk about the trilogy and direction he wanted to see it go -- from the birth of Superman to the eventual death of Superman (something about when our sun or the universe finally dies). It was during this interview that there was also mention of Kryptonian 'ceremonial' armor that would be worn by Superman at one point in the trilogy. I don't know if this is connected to the redesign but I think that sounds kinda cool.

I don't remember any of this, or any talk of armour and I follow this stuff pretty closely. Any chance you could get a link to it?

Did you guys watch Capt America? He had the "classic" costume during his entertaining days. It look ridiculious.

Yea, no problem. I'm currently searching for the links.

Trust me, I wouldn't be making this up, other than Nolan being involved in the project, those two articles got me really excited about the franchise again -- especially after Superman Returns

In the meantime, I always loved this suit from the Godfall arc, and wish to see it in a live action film one day:

That was something that Mark Millar had envisioned if he had got the job.

Really????....

I really thought it was Snyder's/Nolan's vision.

I seem to remember reading the article on a different website but yes, that is what I read -- almost word for word. Wow, this sucks. I really thought I read the article in late 2009/early 2010.

Yeah and he has the classic and ultimate look. the classic look can still work with Superman, the only alternative route is the Earth One costume with modern texture of course.

I think you're thinking of Mark Millar.

Earth One is a pretty perfect version of the suit for me.
This is what I'd love them to do for the movie

Earth One's idea was great, the suit was great as wast the art. What was a major disappointment was how insipid the execution was.

It just felt like it was done because it had to be done.

Regarding the suit-reveal, I dont remember how they did it with SR or BB for that matter, but I have a feeling they might reveal the S-logo first and then some days later the entire suit.
