Not sure if it's just the Kent Farm or downtown Plano. Heard from the Man of Steel Facebook page that the Kent Farm is going to be exploded. Maybe from a Tornado.

I have a feeling that a flood of set pics are going to pour in this coming week and thereafter. Along with news, plot points, etc.

Christ, these set-pics look beautiful. Yes, the attention to detail is amazing. The Kent-farm is starting to look appropriately "used".

And there's a gas-station like suggested earlier. I hope it's For All Seasons.

EDIT: Just watched the video by Rutkas. Hehe, the guy kinda sounds like Phillip Seymor-Hofman in Max and Mary.
Anyways, again that incredible attention to detail. Building that entire metro-station when it may only be featured in the movie for a couple of minutes.
Also, they're building Otto's Barbershop's interiors as well. Im sure they're gonna shoot stuff in there, hehe.

I dont know if the cars are part of the sets. If so, they look really 80s-like. I guess that could mean some kinda kid-Clark sequences going on. That would make him late 30'ish today though.

I wonder with the small down destruction sets... will they be doing a meteor shower arrival, you think? Perhaps like "Smallville" the series, though I doubt as story impactful as it was there. Granted it could just as easily be a number of other things. Freak storm for some reason. Accidental Clark power usage. But since they're re-booting totally anyway, the meteor shower aspect was one of the good ideas to cover baby Kal'el's arrival if you think about it objectivly...

I know but its easy to think that this is the early 90s and there would be plenty of cars from the 80s around.

On the Smallville school pics: Apparently, there was water running down the windows of the school to give the illusion that it was a rainy day. Probably the weather that it is going to lead to the school bus accident and Tornado in Smallville...

That Monte Carlo SS is 83-88 I believe. So you can take that for what you will. Not sure how old "Clark" is going to be in this school shot. Is it him played by a younger actor, is it Cavill pretending to be 16? Interesting though.

Cavill must be filming special effects shots. Has he even arrived on that set yet?

I believe that particular model is an '85, if I am not mistaken. I had one just like it.

It may be that the scenes being filmed right now are when a younger clark discovers his powers. That school looks like an elementary/middle school. The small buses I think give that away as well. Keep in mind, the only casting news we've received has been main characters. If this is indeed a reboot, wouldn't there be a young Clark?

Its interesting that other than amy adams no other cast has been spotted. And even then no one got a picture of her.

Exciting times for a superhero fan
