It is my first language doesn't mean i don't get confused, cause i have to be bilingual where I live. but that's not really the problem it's just an issue of the right words . I just don't always have them set up in my head right . I come close and then . On occasion it happens right others not so much. It's up and down. it's part of the reason I try to keep active with writing, other wise some thing drops. if you hear me talk online like on steam (or other platforms), like dr midnite and collossial spoons have you'd think i'm some brotha from NYC.

Borderlands 2 would make a great musical, and this trailer proves it

The musical aspirations of Gearbox Software have never been more clear than in today's Borderlands 2 "Wimoweh" trailer. Yes, Claptrap is keen to bounce along, but so are all the other vile residents of Pandora. Is it too much to ask for an Easter Egg involving this song somewhere in the game? We ... Continue Reading

Meet Borderlands 2′s Ellie: The “opposite of how most females tend to be represented in games”

This is Ellie. You may have seen her in the latest Borderlands 2 trailer (unless you were distracted by the dangerously high levels of a-whimoweh), but up to now we didn’t know much about the series’ new NPC. I recently had the opportunity to send the Gearbox team a few questions about Ellie’s design, origin, and role — read on to find out who she is, how she came to be, and how Gearbox seeks to defy stereotypes. Read and comment

Gearbox begins work on Mechromancer as Borderlands 2 wraps up

17

Borderlands 2 has been completed and sent off for certification, according to an update by Gearbox community manager Chris Faylor, which means the studio is free to begin work on other things -- specifically, the Mechromancer.

In addition to being an awesome hip-hop name we totally can't prove we came up with years ago, the Mechromancer is a class of character that will be made available as free DLC to those who pre-order the game. Faylor anticipates the class' release to come "roughly 60 to 90 days after launch." He also stated that the Mechromancer is "just one of the many bonuses" that will be made available to pre-order customers.

Borderlands 2′s Megalomaniacal Villain Is The Star Of A Funny New Trailer

August 13, 2012 . 11:30amGearbox Software have released another amusing new trailer for Borderlands 2.

Your new BFF, the first skill tree for Borderlands 2's Mechromancer

11

The Mechromancer's first fully formed skill tree is called Best Friends Forever, and while it won't hand out charm bracelets or stay up all night gossiping, it will hold your hand. Best Friends Forever offers a series of handicaps for the friends of players who might say, "I love Borderlands and I want to share it with someone, but they suck at first-person shooters," lead designer John Hemingway tells Eurogamer.

One skill in the Best Friends Forever tree is "Close Enough;" it makes bullets that miss their targets ricochet off surrounding objects toward the intended enemy. "Can't aim? That's not a problem," Hemingway says.

Another skill tree may end up as the counterpoint to Best Friends Forever, offering a hardcore mode, and the third might be a "shock gameplay tree." Gearbox is still playing with the Mechromancer's tree, but "you'll definitely see a few things with the robot hand in her skill trees," Hemingway says.

The Mechromancer's main skill is to summon Deathtrap, a giant robot, and her tree will include skills that teach him new abilities. One new ability is called Explosive Clap, which has Deathtrap rush enemies and clap his hands together to knock them down.

Hemingway wouldn't give away the Mechromancer's name, and Gearbox is still working on her final build. The Mechromancer is planned to launch 60 days following Borderlands 2's launch on September 18, as paid DLC or free for those who pre-order the game.

I always come in here hoping people are actually discussing Borderlands, and am always disappointed when it's just you re-posting articles.

I'm probably going to cancel my Gamefly account once this is released. I sickeningly got to level 69 with two characters, one on PS3 one on 360, and even did the awful Moxxi DLC twice to get the achievements and trophies.

I would have S-ranks this had it not been for the damn random drop stuff in Robolution. I just couldn't take it anymore.

I'm going to go Commando for the first playthough, I'm excited to see all the turret customization stuff in full effect.

I initially soloed most of the game with Lillith. I got a little bit into the Clap Trap DLC and couldn't go on anymore. I picked it back up recently and got to around level 40 with Roland before I quit.

The turret stuff with the commando does seem cool. The ninja is actually my second choice. I would prefer to play as the Mechromancer, but that's DLC. :/

At least it's free... if you preorder.

Sorry man. I'm just making the tread easier to find and keeping others up to date . But at least there's always something new. And like soapy I can't wait to play as the ninja ether. And he's my first chose , since I was mostly Roland in the first one.. Which i left video me and my buddies from my former progamer team on the old tread for that first game.

I'd be talking more about it too but honestly? I just couldn't be more excited for this game. My three friends and I have already planned our characters for first play though. I'm gonna be Gunzerker with them but probably make a second character as the Assassin, just do when my friends aren't online I play with other people without messing with our other game progress.

Seriously, with Darksiders 2 out this week, it's pretty much at least one great, time consuming game per month.... DS, Borderlands, AC 3 then Halo. I can't wait

Yep. Darksiders and Borderlands is great one-two punch for me. Of course there are games coming out during the holidays I'm interested in, but those are the two big ones for me this year.

oh your not touching sleeping dogs? oh yeah I foregot you did mention your pc wouldn't be able to run it. But what about your other consoles? there are elements of shenmue that are in that game. like being trained in new moves/ as a upgrade.
