I see more people saying they like the suit than not

Also whoever came up with the red and gold belt has some eagle eyes because I didn't notice it at first but they were right

He doesn't appear to be wearing trunks. If you heighten the exposure and saturation on Photoshop it still looks blue.

The Suit Looks Amazing!!! I have to admit the suit looks way better without the red underwear outside. I Have Faith In This Movie Can't wait for more images.

As far as the hair is concerned:

The only difference is the lack of an S curl b/c the hairline itself is exactly the same. He just may need to cut it shorter. So far Zack has delivered on his statement about Superman's look being heavily influenced by Jim Lee's artwork.

Also I think the presentation itself is what sets this apart. I mean compare our introduction to SR to this and it's obvious which one will stir a stronger positive reaction:

One is static and rather boring while the other is dynamic, in your face, and screams action. It's much easier to get excited about.

I think it's more the proportions of the diamond that give off the Reeves vibe than the S itself. The serifs are completely different.

even if the trunks are blue I still like it - and the S seems cool to me - it's more imposing to have a big ass shield on your chest that is three dimensional.

And let's not forget, by having Cavill keep his hair longer rather than shorter, it gives them more scope to style it very differently when he's in Clark Kent guise.

I think its to get us to mellow by what we've seen, then start to make us wonder...then hopefully we'll say "it doesn't matter about the trunks, the suit is awesome" Like some of us are doing now

I like it! Just do not care much for the slick hair. If they have the S on the cape I am sold! Love the Huge S on the chest! A+!

More then happy with this costume and the way he looks + nice dramatic pic, a taste of the action to come! Love the length of the cape, have to admit dosen't look to me like he's wearing the red trunks but still like it overall

That's a great point.

I think this is an inarguable fact; Singer and WB at the time were foolish in the way they went about presenting the suit.

Snyder couldn't scream his intentions much louder : this is a Superman film which will finally have ACTION!
