Great work from everyone so far.

Is a shell really needed...? I've always wondered why it's used. lol

Well reason why it was used in films was because of the stunt man/ actor swap over... they needed to maintain the face shape.. also Spidey in the comics has also been drawn to have a comic book style face structure and lets admit, not every costume wearer or even mannequin has that look...

This is my attempt, but it's very old now..I've already worked on the new one which will be made far different and have a different shape.

That is a beast Future Foundation suit Brad! Any trouble with the white area being too transparent? Did you use the same mesh just painted black or new product?

Great guys, I'm finally gonna have some new pics to show of the shoes... I think I'll probably be fitting into on this weekend again being busy with other stuff.

It's real tough work as I'm learning new things every day.. actually and doing the shoes has asked me to put my thinking cap on..so to say.

I can answer this quickly @spidey scott. That looks to be window tint on plastic, you could also merge the two (tints and mesh) in my opinion to give it more detail.
For the mesh try the $ store for a frying pan spitting cover.. it worked for me and is cheap.

I think you can still buy the shoes they used on the Movie suit. Asics.

Here's mine.

@EVERYONE
Those shoes are "Asics Gel Dirt Dog 3". Unfortunatly I'm having a hard time finding a store that sells them in that color!

The shoes need to be painted. They're white and silver. You also need to remove all upper stitching.

Is the new ultimate suit black? or brown?

Brad.

OK Well, here's a rough photo of what I took last night..

The rubber is still drying on one of the shoes.. Excuse the mess but it gets pretty hectic in there sometimes. I wanted to add some depth to the soles so I painted them.. painting them takes sometime also, I'll take some better pics later in better light
