Default Marvel's Westerns

I doubt this is coming up anytime soon. Especially given the response to DC's Jonah Hex.. But eventually-- Marvel could pursue some of its Western/Cowboy concepts for films, or television. They could be lower-budgeted, especially if they choose not to deal with blatant fantasy elements like Cowboys & Aliens.. could be interesting.. Some of the Western characters include:

Two-gun kid; Phantom Rider; Kid Colt & Arizona girl; Rawhide Kid; Red Wolf; Outlaw kid; Reno Jones & Kid Cassidy (The Gunhawks); Apache kid;
Black Mask/Black Rider; Matt Slade; Tex Dawson, gunslinger
..

Ghost Rider felt like a Western Movie to me, well just a little.

I wish they did the comic version of Carter Slade, the original Ghost Rider (aka the Phantom Rider).

I like the idea that he's not really a ghost, but is just masquerading as one.

Also, Ghost Rider in the comics does hang out in a lot of western locations so it's not surprising the movie felt like one. At least they got that aspect right.

Westerns are interesting but I'ld rather see Marvel try and tackle Eastern cinema like Iron Fist.
