Let's not get Green Lantern into this now haha!

Green Lantern was underwhelming...Parallax sucked...the movie was the definition of mediocre.

Anyway, Marvel hasn't disappointed. This is what they've been leading up to for years. This needs to feel big, and it will.

Why would the space aspects of GL bode unwell for Aliens in Avengers? Especially when the 12 minutes with the Lantern Corp were probably the only interesting part of the whole film.

The Avengers won't be fighting a giant cloud/dirt storm, so I expect the action to be light-years beyond GL.

"Avengers" for a team sounds cool, "Skrulls" doesn't

'Sounds cool'?!? If it's the name of an alien race, who cares? People accept these truths, the same way people accepted the name 'Na'vi', or Predator or any fictional name for a race.

Have you ever actually watched any sci-fi? Ever? Because 'Unobtanium' broke box office records.

A propos of nothing, I'm loving the set pics and videos. This has an epic feel about it.

Also, so far there's Chris Evans been spotted on set. Cap ground action during a strafing attack? Bringing civilians to safety while Iron Man and Thor take care of the aerial assault?

(Also also, if nobody says 'Avengers Assemble!' in this flick, I'll be disappointed. At least a little.)

Anyone wonder if we will get any oblique references to the X Men, FF or Spidey? Considering this is the big moment the shared universe is born it would be sweet to touch on some lost aspects.

There's nothing wrong with the name Skrulls for an alien race. It certainly doesn't sound any cheesier than the Silver Surfer. It actually doesn't even come close!

I thought Marvel making their own movies was suposed to avoid stupid crap that other companies did because they thought it sounded or looked to Cheesy! After all these are comic book movies. Marvel already made a huge mistake having Black Widow and Hawkeye in the film but not having Ant-man and Wasp be part of the original group. If somebody doesn't yell "Avengers Assemble" before the final battle I'm going to personally bad mouth this flick all over the internet!
