I'm also hoping he has an arc where he realizes that he isn't alone & people can befriend him.

I cannot freakin' wait to see Whedon's Loki .... I think Hiddleston is really going to be fun to watch.

Yeah, I'm really happy with him as Loki too. I thought he was the best performance in Thor. (Hemsworth was good too, but I felt that Hiddleston was so much better.)

One thing whedon can do is write dialogue and Loki is a talkative guy.

I thought Loki was a good villain, not a great villain. He didn't live up to his full potential, he was very sympathetic, but wasn't threatening enough.
But Joss will probably make him a great villain, that's what he does best. Just look at The Operative from Serenity, SUCH an amazing villain. |

He didn't have to be that threatening in 'Thor', he was the main characters brother, the drama of that was more important than making him a poor mans Joker

I think Hiddleston also mentioned in an interview that obviously by the time Loki pops up in Avengers he'll have seen a few things...so he'll be leaning a little more towards the utterly villainous side? I'm not sure, I didn't have time to watch the whole thing. But I'm excited to see him come back, there's a lot of room for great character development there, and I agree that Hiddleston is perfect for the role of Loki. Well, at least in my eyes he did a great job portraying the character in Thor, it was one of the highlights of the film for me.

That's one of the many things I'm excited about. Getting to see more of Loki's villainous side, that we all know and love, from the very beginning of the movie.

Going by the rumours of Thor 2, its doing a good job of undermining the first all by itself.

How far into the Thor series would we want to ever see the possibility of Jane going to Asgard?

Given that Thor ends up with Sif, the second film could be a good place to send Jane's character off. |

Also, they better not do that story. We have a great Odin why would we make him an ass? Jane could never have succeeded in the test, Thor says that himself. Its either death by fear lord or banishment. Then Odin erases both Thor and Jane's memories of each other just to stab the knife in a little deeper. I'd rather they didn't adapt bad stories and that is one of the worst. I've said it before I'll say it again. Sif is awful with Thor. Don't adapt bad stories. Keep Sif a strong independant character.I guess if they were desperate they could save Thor/Sif for a prequel trilogy If they wanted to have Jane in Asgard do it in the third and turn the tables on the first by having her be the alien in a foreign culture. Have Thor become King and leave it there showing the character arc is complete.

I'll be honest, if Loki and Hulk are the only two villains i'll be disappointed.
Doesn't sound THAT exciting. Sound like a fun movie, but nothing more, not what I was expecting from such a big movie. I was actually expecting something like Ultimate 2. With the Masters of Evil/The Liberators taking over the United States with giant Mecha and ****. That has the potential to be the best superhero movie ever made. Even more than The Dark Knight! |

The theme of the chosen love of a favored son being deemed unworthy by his parents is strong and resonant one that should be developed in THOR 2.

Today is the day, when Joss & crew will blow some major s**t up in Cleveland. Some extras are already saying, that
Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
In other bits, RDJ won't be in Cleveland, since he's doing Sherlock Holmes 2 reshoots + he shaved his Stark goatee.
