Not a bad title, much better than the previous one.

Really nice title. Big fan of the franchise and thought Rise was great, nice to see the sequel green-lit!

This is one of my most anticipated movies.

With a superior release date, I hope it makes more than the Burton version.

I agree with Jamie, shortening it to Dawn of the Apes is punchier and less convoluted.

Memorial Day 2014, that's a LONG way away. Rupert Wyatt better go all-out on the sequel.

But the "Planet of the Apes" prefix is a huge part of the franchise. Everybody is aware that the titles are convoluted and silly but that's part of the charm! Personally I'm weak for these kind of cheesy serial-esque titles and it also works as a throwback to the original sequels.

I am of two minds, because the repeated 'of the' is nothing new. It was done with the 'Apes' sequels in the 70's. At the sometime, I thought that Rise and Dawn should have shortened up the title(s) so it can clearly state that this is a modern reboot/alt timeline.

I only saw Rise a few days ago. It was so much better than I thought it was going to be. Looking forward to this.

Then they could use Day of the Apes for the next film.

I like what you did there, but Day of the Apes sounds too short since days don't last that long. What about Age of the Apes? Or Age of the Planet of the Apes, whatever.

Wow 2014 even seems so far away, it's a good thing we've got Iron Man 3 & Man of Steel coming out next summer to satisfy our summer movie hype. What else comes out next year?

Anywho, back on topic...I LOVED Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Great movie and set the tone for the new films perfectly. This could be a **** title and probably too long but I always wanted the last one in this series to be called "Long Live the Planet of the Apes"...

Yeah, even saying it sounds too long. Haha.
