Ryan as in Matt Ryan? I'd be hard pressed to find a match-up in which I'd favor Sanchez over Matty Ice.

Dustin Keller or Lance Kendricks? I know Keller is going to come in third behind Holmes and Burress, but I started Kendricks last week and he burned me. Also, Bradford's banged up so that might affect Kendrick's productivity.
Also, Plaxico or Meachem?

I'd go with the known quantity in Keller. Plax is still trying to get in sync with Sanchez & Brees spreads the ball around so damn much it's nearly impossible for him to have a reliable #1 target, so Meachem is as likely as any of the other 2 to have a big day. I'd go with the better QB in Brees. CC: The Jets do have an easier opponent, at least on paper, but I wouldn't trust him. Honestly, I think you'll be served well either way this week.

Tony Scheffler is an under the radar TE, especially for leagues that use TEs in a flex position.
He is the second TE in Detroit, but Detroit uses a 12 base offense (1 back, 2 TEs). The Lions don't have a fb on their roster for this reason (third te lines up as a lead blocker in goalline situations). Stafford, through out both his collegiate and pro career, utilizes his TEs a lot. Pettigrew is TE1 and will likely get more attempts, but Scheffler is the verticle TE (think Hernandez to Pettigrew's Gronk), and will have greater ypc. Lastly, until Titus Young gets up to speed after missing much of the preseason, he will essentially be a third wr. I think he would be a particulalry strong play this week. Scheffler was on the receiving end of one of Stafford's three TD's last sunday and the chiefs defense gave up two tds to te Scott Chandler and has now lost safety eric berry. I own him in all leagues with a te flex position. Last edited by StorminNorman; 09-15-2011 at 02:35 PM. |

The Jaguars are missing starting CB Derek Cox and have a rather potent defensive line built to stifle the run. I wouldn't be surprised if Bradford had a good bounce back game, but this is a good move.

I dropped Grant, tried to get Starks but got beat to the punch. I know the season is just starting, but Starks got more carriers and most of the goalline carries last week. I only got four points from Grant last week.

Manningham or Kenny Britt? I picked Britt up 10 min before kickoff last week on gut feeling and it paid off but I'm leading towards Manningham this week. Nicks is a maybe and Britt is facing the Ravens.
Also, I'm not too sure who to start between Blount, Felix Jones and James Stark. Again, my gut is telling me Stark only because the Panthers D is trash. Advice needed. |

Kenny Britt is such a freak, you never know which guy is going to show: the play maker or the ghost. Boils down to match-ups, Britt's going to face Ed Reed & that predatory secondary but he'll still be the primary target. Manningham is definitely going to get his share of receptions, and with Nicks iffy, he may end up getting enough to outweigh Britt's possible kinda sorta maybe breakout.
I'd scrap Stark right off the bat, that running game is shady. Blount is demmanding more touches which is great for owners but Felix seems to be the BEST back, whose production depends on which Tony Romo shows up for that game. If they don't piss it away and fall behind, in which case the run game becomes obsolete, he'll hit double digits on a truly crappy Carolina D. I'd go Felix.

I'd go Blount. More than Blount asking for more time is that the coaches have pointed to his not getting carries as their greatest failure against Detroit.
Unless its a ppr league. Then Felix would be the better bet. |

Blount's facing the Vikings D & Feliz is up against the 49ers D.
It's not as if they're up against the cream of the defensive crop here.

I'm pretty peeved that all four of my fantasy teams are struggled, particularly one team that features Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Aria Foster. Here's a roster of my team:
QB - T. Brady RB - A. Foster RB - J. Starks WR - M. Manningham WR - L. Fitzgerald WR - D. Bowe TE - B. Pettigrew D - Saints (Lions was taken, unfortunately) K - M. Crosby BENCH QB - T. Romo QB - S. Bradford RB - J. Addai RB - B. Jacobs WR - S. Johnson TE - G. Olsen WR - P. Burress I'm prepared to send a trade proposal to deal Romo for either a RB or a WR, and looking around in my league it seems like the only team needs a QB is a team that has Matt Cassel, but his best players are Beanie Wells, R. Mendenhall, Miles Austin, and Darren Sproles. Who should I choose for the trade?

Well Kasay got me 14 so I'd say you've got a 50 / 50 shot.

Maybe. Still kicking myself, as I benched Jahvid Best (29 points) for Arian Foster (5 points). had I not done that, this wouldn't even be an issue.

Matthews > Hightower
B. Lloyd >>>>>>> Maclin Lloyd was explosive last year, & Maclin is just streaky.

I'd take Maclin over Floyd 6 days a week and twice on Sundays. Dont care what he did last season, I want no part of a WR in a John Fox offense.

On one of my fantasy leagues I am picking up Titus Young and Tony Scheffler, which will have my starting offense consisting of Stafford, Best, Johnson, Burrelson, Young and Scheffler.

A guy in my league just dropped Nate Burleson.
I think I have a solid corp of WRs (Boldin, Meachem, Desean Jackson, and Plax) It's just Meachem and Plax have been inconsistent thus far. Should I take the plunge and drop one for Burleson?

Yeah, it's PPR. I think I'll drop Meachem for him. Brees just spreads the ball around too damn much.
