He'll be gold then. Stafford loves Burleson. Due to coverage, he will likely end up with a lot more catches than Calvin (though fewer touchdowns).

Burleson should be owned in all leagues as long as Stafford is starting. *knocks on wood*

Titus Young is an interesting pickup too, especially in PPR leagues. Provided his hamstring doesn't start barking again, he could be good for 6-8 catches and about 70 yds per game, and he was getting looks from Staff down at the goal line. Kid has crazy speed and is a match-up nightmare when you've already got to account for Megatron with the safety.

Okay, Steven Jackson or James Starks?

I'm leaning towards Starks. Jackson's quad pull still has me concerned, even though he's probable for this week.

Jets D or Saints D? I have McFadden in this league... so I'm torn to start a RB who's playing against a D I have.

Really anyone on the Lions offense should be owned.

I should probably go ahead and add Maurice Stovall and Keiland Williams to my bench.

I would probably go with Starks and the Jets.

I would rather have conflicting matchups than bet against Andre Johnson.

With the acquisition of Burelson, now I'm left wondering who I should plug into my W/R spot. It's either Burleson or Sproles.

Burleson will make have more snaps, for what it is worth.

Personally, I would start Burleson - but I am extremely bullish on the Lions offense. (I have six of their players on one of my leagues).

Yeeah, so I noticed. Just pray Stafford's shoulder makes it another 15 weeks unharmed.

If Stafford's shoulder makes it through another 15 weeks, our concern will then be keeping it healthy another four more.

Yeah, both Pettigrew & Foster combined for 3 pts for me last week, which resulted in my team's second straight loss. Should I hold on to Pettigrew or just drop him since I have Greg Olsen as well?

that's the hard part. is this the week his luck streak runs out or could i benefit from another fluke week?

also, ryan has been not what i anticipated early on.

i am also toying with starting big ben against indy instead.

Absolutely, Matty Ice has been underwhelming. Anyone could be Dan Marino against the Colts. Cam Newton is the NFL's biggest Slot Machine.

lol, God bless your little country soul woman.

Start Newton. Luck streak is underselling Newton's performance and the force pushing Rivera has forced onto Newton. It seems like Rivera wants to change the Panthers from a run and drive team to a slot pass machine like San Diego. Plus facing the Jags with a rookie QB (Who is starting his first game) which could help provide more turnovers for more Newton possessions, this is a great matchup for Newton.

It also doesnt hurt that they are playing the suspect Jaguar's defense that is decent against the run (Which Rivera responds to by making Newton throw).

The Bucs D could hold Ryan partially in check and he has far less upside than Newton this week fantasy wise.

Still mulling over starting Gates or replacing him with Mercedes Lewis.

Gates is listed as Questionable & a 'source' claims he won't play. Lewis as Blaine Gabbert of all people throwing to him against an energized Panther D.

To make shiz worse, Gates plays at 1 & Lewis at 4, so it's not as if I can wait till the late day game to see any news.
