they boot heels, I have combat boots with heels, cowboy boots have heels

and I wouldn't exactly call that armor since it serves to protective function

I just received my 4 foot Poster of Henry in the 1st official suit pic, and man is this baby KILLER!!! I can see details on the suit so much clearer.

I was worried that since the pic was being blown up so big to be set in poster form, that details would be lacking, but not so! What I just received is like looking at that official Pic on a 4 foot monitor.

Just hung it up, and man does it look beautiful on my wall!

eh, when did we last get the origin? 1978? and we don't know exactly how it's being played out here. i don't think it's gonna be straight forward. but yeah, getting the same suit AND an origin would be on the boring side. but then you just said you wanted the movie to fail so superman would keep his undies.

Nah, it's just a flattened surface that is more reflective than the rest of the suit which is textured. You can get a better look at it in the promo pic. It is the same material on the gauntlet and the thigh, though.

The new comics suit is armor. The movie batsuits are armor. That is not armor IMO.

So are the gauntlets silver because they look blue in the official pic like they blend with the rest of the arm. But in these blurry spy pics they look silvery maybe is just the reflective material.

Looking at the new spy photos,i want to say my opinion. As i look Henry Cavil,i think that he looks like Superman, than anyone else played our beloved hero before.Maybe when the movie will published,i will prove wrong. For the costume i have to say that i love it.i allways hated the trunks,i never understand why they was there from the first place.I agree that a red belt will make it perfect. We have to think that this is an alternative origin of the hero,so they dont have to make the costume exactly like the comics.I cant wait for a full photo of the costume,so we can see it more clear.I have the hope that this movie will be the greatest Superman movie ever.

I'm more worried that his shins look skinny in that picture, relative to his thighs, and it looks like jodhpurs!

I'd like it if people stopped pointing out flaws so I don't have to obsess over them myself.

The more the pic gets posted, the more I think it looks fine without the trunks.

I think in 2 years time, i'll be so used to seeing it, it'll feel normal.

I like the suit but like others I wish they would have used a red belt to break up the blue, I am glad however that they used a real suit and not a cgi one like Green Lantern's which I didn't really care for.

I think if there is a definite belt to break it up it should be okay. The buckle looks very washed out in that picture and we know that it is quite prominent, so the other belt elements might be much more visble in an official shot which would definitely delineate between the torso and leg area.

I think it's reflective blue gauntlets and a reflective strip down the leg.

So he looks like a walking blueberry prophylactic with reflective tape on it.

And people laughed at the trunks.
