What is your current avatar and why? My current avatar is a picture of Aquaman and Mera from the 2003 Aquaman series. I chose it because I for one love Patrick Gleason's arc and I enjoyed that series as well. It's also just a really nice picture of Aquaman hugging Mera. Makes me happy/smile.

What will you sing? Anything if I know and like it. Sometimes will go to Karaoke places with friends. If I had to pick a genre I'm typically good at though would be R&B and Romance songs (woo'd a few chicks I previously dated that way lol).

Just because often times I can make a post that is critiquing someone or some post and has a tone of seriousness to it doesn't mean I'm being negative or conveying any sort of emotion. To me it's about a sense of that I can be professional with someone and not be emotional just because of what I'm saying.
What is your Hype Pet Peeve? People who post in threads that have some sort of format to them and simply don't post correctly.
What SHH event (that you not necessarily had to be a part in) has given you the most enjoyment? The World of Heroes: DC RPG game in the Hype RPG section. And if that somehow doesn't count then the first RPG Awards we had in 2007.

Are you an illegal alien? Lol, charming as ever, byrd. No I was born in New York and raised there until I moved to Texas when I was a pre-teen.

Why did you just lie about the above question? Charming again my friend.

Why is Aquaman your favorite superhero? I love that you can look at his history for the past 30+ years of when they really started to go a certain path with him and it is all actually gradual character development. Like many heroes while there are subtle differences between the 60s and now, Aquaman over all has all of that in cannon. So I see his progression from the death of his child, to finding out more about his true past, etc etc, to him getting angrier and such as character development for so long. What PAD did in the 90s only made sense the guy has had a tragic life.

Again, why? To add more, I've always been fond of water-related characters generally and I love mythology and his mythos have some ties to the myths of Atlantis and other Greek mythological characters/places/items. Lastly I see so much potential with a character who actually has a really good supporting cast and PLENTY of villains that simply need to be re-used more. There are no bad characters, after all.

For those of us who have short memories, which characters have you RPed in the past? Most known for my Aquaman and Jason Todd work in the DC RPG, and had some brief runs as Hawkman and a very brief arc with Lagoon Boy and Merlyn. Had a blast doing a awesome arc of Echo & Daredevil with Harl and Byrd and others I believe when I was in the Marvel RPG. I established the mythos for Ultimate Aquaman in the DC RPG of course and pre-reboot of that game I had a fun tenure as Ultimate Despero before JB went AWOL and other people just fell off the wayside as well as a quick arc with Ultimate Clayface and Ultimate Brother Blood (THAT was a fun fight with Optikal's Ultimate Hawkman at the end). Knowing that I have left others out since I've been RPing on these forums for so long I will just end this question with saying that it has been a blast these past 6 years.

Which was your favorite season out of any RPG? I forget if it was Season I or II of CAH where we did the Invasion arc. Some of my best writing came before and after that arc for character development with my created character.

Were you very frustrated with me the first time we talked on the phone and I was trying to give you directions? Was it worth it? I wasn't frustrated at all and of course it was worth it. Was great to finally meet some of the people on the Hype I've grown close to at SDCC 2010.

List the all reasons why you love Greg Rucka: Everything I have read so far that he has written has been pure gold. There are still some books like Queen & Country I need to check out but the guy has yet to steer me the wrong way. Also, he is the type of writer that looks sometimes towards the non A-list characters and does something with them or creates/establishes a minority/uncommon type of character and does so much development and good ideas with them. He is the type of writer that any writer should aspire towards. Plus he just had some little spiel he gave about the current superhero movie industry regarding Hollywood's dumb opinions that I fully agree with.

Have you or anyone you know been affected by the economic mess? It took a long time for the economic mess to affect our area of Texas. I live in Sugar Land which is about 20-25min away from the Houston Areas. I also live within the wealthy part of the city so it took even longer to affect our community. It has affected me only the last year because my boss has cut back on hours and has made me make a type of schedule for everyone that I really dislike, including myself, as I'm still paying for school and working.

How much does gasoline cost per gallon in your area? I filled up yesterday and it was around $3.36 per gallon I believe.

How do you like your PB&J? Not too much PB. Some people can put way too much I put just enough to cover one of the slices of bread. For J, sometimes I will go with Strawberry over Grape...not sure which I like more.

Scale of 1-10 how much do you miss JB? About a 7. It's not like he at least mentioned that he might be gone a while. He just has been AWOL.

Who do you think is the best host of Inside the Poster's Studio? Wow, way to put me in the situation where I'm one of the candidates...ass. I think the only way I can answer this question is by going by the people interviewed by each "host" of the show. So I will go with Byrd Man. He interviewed a lot of people I wanted to interview but tried to keep the thing fair and not do many 2nd interviews.

Why would you pick brown hair dye and not something crazy? I've never been a person to wonder how I would look with something that wasn't practical with my looks. I'd look ridiculous as a blonde since I'm a tanned hispanic male. So cross out one of the other natural/normal colors. And I always knew that if I had an unnatural hair color I'd look dumb. Brown is practical depending on the shade with my skin tone and such.

Can I have your ramen recipe? I simply don't make it as it is instructed to make it. The way that mainly my asian friends make it and some other people I know is that they simply put the brick of noodles into the boiling water and they do not put the flavor pack until after it is cooked. I first take two knives, holding them upside down and use the heavy blunt end to mash up the bag of ramen to where all the noodles are essentially in pieces. Then I put it into the water and when the water starts boiling is when I put the flavor packs in and then I add a little bit of salt and pepper in and if I feel like it a the yolk from an egg (not as common for me) and scramble it about. I let it cook until the water is all gone so I don't put much water in in the first place and when it is finished it is moreso flavor packed noodles than a soup with noodles and not in huge strings of noodle that make it more annoying to eat.

What's your favorite sport? Favorite sport to play is Basketball but I haven't been in shape for it for a good while. Favorite sport to watch though is Baseball. I still root for my home team even though I moved away from NY and it is easier to catch when a Yankee Game is playing than the Knicks. And the Knicks don't have as good a track record obviously lol.

How about favorite athlete? I haven't watched sports seriously enough to have one anymore. When I was a kid I had some favorite line-ups from the Knicks and the Yankees but when I moved away from NY and didn't have cable at first I started to care less about sports since I couldn't watch my favorite teams and players anymore.

What happens if you get scared half to death twice? I'm a pretty shy person and have been trying to get out of that shell a while now. Over the years I'd say I've gone a long way but if I had two near death experiences I'd probably strive to push that even more. My shyness is something I dislike most about myself and I can't understand how I'm not shy in certain things just yet but if you change 1 variable that always changes no matter how small.

If a word in the dictionary were mispelled, how would we know? I wouldn't. Unless it was in that one printed dictionary and I saw the mispelled entry and then checked online because often times I look towards dictionary.com if I can't recall how a word is spelled.

How young can you die of old age? If you mean strictly of old age with no other factor then I don't know. But I'd say the bigger factor is your eating habits. I have a relative in the Dominican Republic who is 103 and she seems fine. Given it is a poor country they don't eat as many food products since they cannot afford it and eat mainly naturally grown food.

What turns you off? If it is a girl I do not know and I see her at a party and she is overly revealing in her dress. I don't think that revealing necessarily means sexy it conveys the ****ty look moreso. I like it if a girl looks classy while she is sexy. And I hate handjobs. Does nothing for me.
