It already has. References to Ezra Small (Smallville's founder) were first introduced on the Smallville show; and it has also appeared on the MOS set several times.

Like someone said a couple pages back, something about Lex and 40 cakes. Something like," Mr. Luthor would like 40 cakes at his party, that's four..." something along the lines of that would be hilarious.

But what is the 40 cakes referring too? I saw that picture posted here about the 40 stolen cakes, but in what context is that? What makes that story so popular? What was the whole story behind the 40 cakes being stolen by Luthor?

I want so many Easter eggs in MoS that I feel like I'm gonna throw up at the end of the movie...

It's from a DC published children's dictionary from around 1978.

This will give you a bit more info...

Ah, I see. Thanks! I had seen the picture of that dog before but I didn't understand the reference. That is not a bad idea either to have a children's dictionary with comic book characters that they would recognize. Cool, thank you.

Nothing that has to do with previous films, this is a reboot!,, SR was ok because it was a sequel, and love all the references to the Donner film. But with MoS, I want easter eggs, but with other DC heroes, i.e. GL, WW, Flash,, that will be cool!,,

Superman had a lot of cameos on Seinfeld. It might be fun to see them return the favor. If we do get Lex, I hope we get a Forty Cakes reference in there.

- Krypto: i don't know how, but not a blatant flying dog in a cape, just...well some kind of mention, picture, nod or something

- the dual-ring holding cell from the original movies.

- someone saying "what more can anyone ask" or "A good reporter doesn't get great stories, Jimmy, a good reporter MAKES them great"

- i know its awful, but if someone says "SAY JIM...that is a BAAAAAD outfit!"

Surely there is an app for that?

"Is it a bird?"
"Is it a plane?"
"No its Superman!"
Can see some TV anchor saying that live on the scene.

How about Bibbo? Can a person be an Easter Egg? Or Dan Turpin?

I would say that's more a cameo than an Easter egg.

You know what would be a cool easter egg? The bust of uncle Mort that Clark used to have in his apartment.

How about a scene where Supes if flying toward a cloud and the cloud is shaped to look EXACTLY like Chris Reeve. And then have Supes just blast his way through destroying it. Maybe have Henry yelling, "Its MY time now, bruh!!"

Bibbo, Turpin and Sawyer, definitely. Maybe some reference to other cities, like Keystone, Central or Coast City(if they're doing a Doomsday movie later on, Coast City would be a good idea, as after Superman returns, the Cyborg destroys it). Maybe after Superman shows up, someone says "Now watch, Gotham will make it's own 'Caped Crusader'. Only theirs will be some nutjob in black." Classic lines like "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman!", "Truth, Justice and the American Way" and "Faster than a Speeding Bullet, More Powerful than a Locomotive, Able to Leap Tall Buildings in a Single Bound". And maybe, after the battle with Zod, Superman takes on a new, more classic suit, to differentiate himself from the evil Kryptonians.
