I just realized.

The dude sitting with Coulson in the Consultant short, Sitwell? I think he was the dude who asked Coulson if The Destroyer was "one of Stark's" in the movie.

Why can people link the special features? Isn't that the same as linking bootleg stuff? It can't help sales and I don't think Marvel would approve.

All of the Loki scenes should have been included in the finale film. It would added even more depth to his story-arc. My favourite deleted scene is between him and Thor before the coronation sequence where the two brothers bond and joke over their respectful helmets .

I do like the original intro of Loki as it is a good way to establish Loki and his relationship with Thor. Maybe it was a little too slow for audiences? Having this sort of quiet, bonding moment between the two.

One scene I'm glad they did cut is the deleted scene of Sif and the Warriors Three introduction. Bad cheesy and bad corny. Fandral says, "Who wants to polish my sword" URGH!!!! It just seemed to be staged and badly written. Sometimes banter works and sometimes it doesn't. Didn't really work very well here IMHO.

Honestly, only really Loki's Coronation did I feel should have been in there. Everything else, I can see why they were cut. I didn't miss them or anything after I saw them.

I think the scene between Odin and Frigga about Thor's Banishment should've also remained in the final cut .

On an unrelated note, every time I watch the movie and they show the part where Laufey unleashes his huge beast on Thor and the others I keep thinking, "You need to break his tusks and cut off his tail or you won't get any rare carves in rewards!" That and when Thor kills it and it falls I think, "D'oh! You lost all your carves!" I know, a little Monster Hunter humor there, I think I play the games way too much!

I wanted the scene where they're leaving for Jotunheim and are commenting about his powers...THAT was funny.

Were there more deleted scenes than what was put on the blue ray version?? If Marvel re-releases with new scenes, and possibly an extended version, I'd get it for sure.

However, I understand why a lot of the scenes were cut but I was disappointed that there wasn't enough special features on the standard dvd. I'll have to get myself a blue ray player someday.

I was finally able to watch my Blu Ray deleted scenes.

Overall, like most deleted scenes, I can see why they were not included in the movie. There were a couple (already mentioned) that would have been nice additions, though.

I would have included:
Thor and Loki before the coronation.
Thor, Sif and Warriors Three preparing to leave and discussing Heimdal's powers.

Bought the Thor Blu Ray yesterday. It looks so good.

Some of the deleted scenes were cool, but I can see why some were cut. I really dug the ones with the warriors three, pretty much all the Asgard scenes.

I'm still hoping some enterprising youtube'er will put together a gag reel with the sound of Thor's hammer smacking stuff getting replaced by the sound of a squeaky toy hammer. I'd love to see that.

Yeah the one scene of them walking down the hall talking about Heimdall lol LOVED that. Tho I have yet to see any of the bluray stuff on my combo set because I can't locate a bluray player to borrow.
