I know this is cheesy, but it would be funny if Hawkeye or Iron Man made quipped "no use crying over spilled milk" when ruining his invasion plans (or one of those down alien crafts in the spy pics) and he then calls for a henchmen called 'Drat'.... ok, maybe not. lol

I think the best way to do Thanos is like the Frost Giants in Thor. A mix of make up and CGI to make them look bigger.

Speaking of potential Thanos actors, if he's just being portrayed by a voice actor with a stunt guy in mo-cap then I wouldn't mind either Kevin Michael Richardson or David Warner. They usually provide some great performances, especially in the Baldur's Gate series of PC videogames where they've both played the villain.
Kevin Michael Richardson's Sarevok at around the 42 seconds mark (should also check out his Throne of Bhaal ressurection. He doesn't say much, but I do like his performance there.) VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:
A collection of David Warner's Irenicus from Baldur's Gate 2 (his performance and character is much of the reason I like this game the best out of the series. That and it plays better). VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

![]() Yes, I know that Thanos has been written very eloquently since the Infinity Saga. I'm just saying that I'd rather see Jeffrey Wright bring an understated menace to the role, like he did in that Angels in America scene, rather than have some booming Clancy Brown "I WILL DESTROOOOOY YOU, FOOLISH MORTALS" nonsense. |

I just want to hear Thanos say one of the coolest lines ever from the Infinity Gauntlet:
"The heavens will run red with blood..but in the end, as always, Thanos will stand triumphantly."

I saw some of the Surfer cartoon, but not Thanos (to my recollection). I imagine they would have to change the character a bit for a Saturday morning cartoon.

I reread the entire Captain Marvel/Thanos saga. There was no camp or corniness whatsoever to the character as he was originally conceived and portrayed by Jim Starlin. Any being who desires to wipe out all (or even half) of the sentient life in the universe is about as far from that sort of thing as it gets.

I honestly can't see Loki, at least the MCU version, aligning himself with someone where he gets the short end of the stick; so even if he did aligned himself with Thanos and promised the gauntlet, I doubt that Loki really intended to hand over such a item to him...and this is all of course based on only a possibility of the rumor being true.

Camp really isn't much of an issue for me when it comes to adapting characters for the big screen. I mean I can easily put down any campiness in the comics for numerous reasons like various writers and their personal style, the times they were written in and the fact that comics in general isn't the most sophisticated writing you'll read by a long shot (thought that's not to say that film is always or infinitely better).
If a character comes to screen it doesn't necessarily mean that every aspect of that character will translate exactly. I don't really see them going down the Batman & Robin route (or anywhere near it) with Thanos.

Well in my honest opinion, with the introduction of the nine realms and the possibility of Thanos, this really allows the opportunity to expanding the adventures of the Avengers on screen; hell it'd be cool to see them have adventures not only on Earth, but through different realms and galaxies someday.
On a sidenote, anyone else feel a sense of de ja vu from when it was mentioned on Latino review that Thanos would supposedly be in the film?lol |

The Leviathan sea monster is actually the monster form of Alpha Flight and former Avengers team member, Marina. She turned into the monster after becoming pregnant with Namor's baby. So I think that it might be a safe bet that the alien army working for Thanos and Loki is the same alien race as Marina, called the Plodex.

I don't think that's a safe bet at all.... Pretty much on the same level as most of the speculation thats been going on for weeks.
