Yeah, I worded that wrong...

I was just sick of the Bob Kane, SS talk that was dominating this thread...

Krumm, that's for you...
Sorry if you came in two posts too late.

But yes, I don't he ever mentioned he was the guy in with the pole. However, I could see Synder going with the Jim Lee Zod. It's visual enough and a lot more badass -- although I'm not a huge fan.

Well played sir Until you tried to make sense of the English language....

And I agree, that Lee's Zod is ass and should not be anywhere near a movie set.

No need to apologize, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed - I was being an ass for the hell of it.

I find Zod much more menacing as just man, like Lex. Unfortunately when it comes summer blockbusters, Hollywood loves a good old fashioned GIANT MONSTER. And with such a sci-fi story as Superman, that's probably what we're getting.

I'm just not sure if I prefer the idea of the pole guy being Zod because at leas it's still Zod. Or if I prefer it's some random monster to avoid Jim Lee's version.

I'd nix Doomsday since he kills Superman and all, but what if it's an early form of Doomsday before he reaches his final evolution - just a bit if a hint of him.

Can't remember the exact wording. Something along the lines of, "Yes it was me in the motion capture suit in those photos".
I didn't remember seeing any other motion capture suits so assumed he was talking about THAT suit.
Believe it or don't believe it. It's up to you.

You can look in the set photo thread. It's in chronological order. There were pics of motion capture suits before the stick guy. Nothing he said specifically points to the stick guy.

-EDIT-

lol good job Elayis

Fair enough. I didn't remember seeing two different people in suits. My apologies for jumping the gun.

well I was thinking krypton he didn't have powers

also if he was in the phantom zone he could have used a suit to help keep his power up

it could be some kind of solar suit that super charges him

BRILLIANT.

That looks AWEOME, Love the look they got for Shannon as Zod. Clearly the suits that Superman and Zod have are some type of traditional Kryptonian battle suit of some sort, looks is impressive.

So now that Zod's and Supes' suits seem to be exactly alike except for color and chest symbol, what are the thoughts of their purpose?

Are they ceremonial Kryptonian dress or are they space suits or what?
