The last thread got too big and was closed, so this thread is basically a continuation of the last one. So, my fellow Ottofiles, let's continue! :otto::up:

Aren't both lower tentacles supposed to have large claws?

Looks fantastic, Spidey_62. Armani suit Ock is one of my favorite looks.

I do as well. It makes Doc Ock look more professional as he drinks a cup of coffee while his tentacles kick the crap out of Spider-Man.

When Ock inevitably cures himself from his current plight, he needs to celebrate by making a return to his white armani suit look. If Ock makes it to the reboot franchise, I hope they adopt that look.

It's nice to see a general consensus on the white double breasted suit look for Doc Ock. It made him look more dignified, respectable and dangerous. It's the kind of outfit he'd wear in a confrontation with Doom or Magneto. It should certainly return.

Yes. It makes look like less of a fatass with a stupid haircut than the jogging suit did. I'm not sure why the latter is more popular.

I think the green and orange tights remain popular because of their classic status from the Lee Romita era. I liked the Zeck piece, and I've always admired his work. The only thing i dislike about it is his rendition of Ock's hair.

I have an animation cell of Spider-Man fighting Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man: The Animated Series somewhere. I'll scan it and post it if I can find it.

I fondly remember when Byrne's art was fresh and new, now his style seems as quaint and dated as Ditko's.

^^ But Ditko's art is still considered fantastic after 50+ years.

True, Ditko's work has aged much better than Byrne's. |

And what's with Ock's outfit in that pic? All the other villains are in their classic costumes except Ock.
