I was reading the liveblog from NYCC, and they showed an image of Doc Ocks arms and the tagline read "Ends of the earth". Can't wait!

LOL as great as that scene was, it was a goof. It made no sense for Ock to throw a car Peter's way when he needed him alive.

Raimi sacrificed logic for dramatic effect there.

Anybody else have Spider-Man Operation? I've always found the box art to be pretty ingenious/humerous.

YES!

They are some of the finest Spider-Man stories I have ever read. The writing is flawless. Every character is brilliantly written and dead on accurate. Those books had me hooked. I couldn't stop reading them when I finished a chapter. I wanted to keep going.

They should get Castro to write the comics. He has Spidey in his blood.

The fact that they haven't brought in Castro for the comics is baffling.

The first few are from the rare DOS game Spider-Man: The Sinister Six. Ock was pretty cool in that with the armani suit and all.

From a new interview with Dan Slott on CBR.

Quote:
No, I mean, can you tell us about what you're going to do as a follow up? What's the next big Spidey epic?

Our next "big" Spidey story is in 2012 and it's an adventure with Doc Ock titled "Ends of the Earth." It's the big Sinister Six story that we've been building and building and building. We saw hints of it all the way back at the start of "Big Time" in "Amazing" #648 and recently Doc Ock has been on a massive victory lap in the Marvel Universe. He's bested Iron Man. He totally punked Reed Richards. He broke into the Baxter Building and stole some things while making everyone in the FF chase fake zombie pirates. Plus he pulled one over on Hank Pym in "Avengers Academy." So right there you're looking at three of the biggest brains in the Marvel Universe who all just got pantsed by Otto Octavius -- on his way towards his biggest master plan ever.

Back in "Amazing" #600, we learned that Otto is dying. In "Marvel time" he was given months to live. We're reaching the point where he's only got weeks. So he's got one last shot and Otto isn't going to be content at taking over New York or pulling one over on the scientific community. He's making the BIG grab. He's got one shot at a master plan with the Sinister Six and he's going for THE WORLD! And to stop him Spider-Man will have to take their fight to... "THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!"

How's that for an ominous title?

Ock has been giving the Marvel Universe a big wedgie lately. He's out smarted some of the finest minds in the MU and he hasn't even broken a sweat. Plus he's had nearly every member of Spidey's rogues gallery working for him and now he's got his old team, the Sinister Six working for him again just like old times.

Now he's going for the big one: the world. I cannot wait for this story
