That's awesome.

In addition to the regular posters, I hope we see some action posters like this.

With tagline "This Looks Like a Job For..."

Please god no. No cheesy lines like up up and away, and it's a bird...
Though I don't mind that the side of the police car says "truth and justice" in latin. That is a subtle touch I can handle.

My thoughts exactly. As cool as it is to have a callback to the Fleisher cartoons (since the colors seem to be doing that, as well), they really just need to move forward and forget about being retro.

This is a new, modern Superman. He needs new mottos. Over 70 years of rehashing the same ones over and over again is enough.

Thanks very much guys!

@TheDragonator: Yeah, I was trying to make it into a poster, but halfway through I thought of it more as a movie still. Mainly because the Superman image I was working with didn't really allow for the largeness needed and also because I wanted it to look as "real" as possible. I just imagined from that perspective, Superman appearing as more of an unclear blur.

I'd say original, but steel looks pretty sick. Though, now that we've seen zod's suit, it might look too similar. It'll be sweet either way

ok..........Final update for now........mostly since I ran out of layers (no more room to add stuff for those who dont know what layers are) lol if I find a new way to make the suit, with different designs or whatever I'll update again.........or I might make some new suits for him....like a classic suit.......hhmmm.....

Anyway here's Henry is the Man Of Steel suit with Christopher Reeve in that classic Superman suit I was talking about.

Henry Cavill, Superman:

His hair is changing in these pix cause I was trying out different styles....basically I'm sticking with the slicked back look for now.

Christopher Reeve, Classic Superman + Henry Cavill, Man Of Steel:

not done posting, just cant post more then 10 pix at once lol

still being worked on, but here's what I've made so far of Michael Shannon in his "Man Of Steel" Zod suit.

No I have not made him a symbol yet, it is the same one I made for Henry Cavill on black and reversed....sort of like Bizarro lol.....I will make the new symbol once we actually get to see it :P

face morphing still needs a bit of work......body is done, head shape is done, height is done.........so any feed back for his face is welcome

Oh and for those who have actually asked me this already from the other pix I've posted.......Zod's "victim" in that last pic.....really how can you not know who that is??

really happy with how the shield came out now, gives it that shiny look like in the official release pic

Oh and since Henry Cavill's Superman seems to be based on "Kal-L", the original Superman..........I made something thats......lets call it "Epic Foreshadowing"

I was a little bored so thought I'd try something different for a manip, a 50s style MOS poster.

Here guys, I added the rest of the shields, as I promised earlier.

I added Kirk Alyn, George Reeves, and Dean Cain, and rearranged all the shields in the order that they appeared.
I made some minor adjustments to the Henry Cavill/Man of Steel one too. Hope you guys like it.

Very cool. I have to say, I really do like the MOS one best. It's moved the shield look forward a bit, but still very recognisable and not too 'futuristic' looking.

It's also wider rather than taller, which I prefer - the SR one went down that route too and looked fairly good.

Love it. I really like the MOS shield for being so alien.
