Default BBC's Sherlock: Series 2

No official air date has been set at this point, but BBC said the show will likely air in the UK this winter.

Episode 1: A Scandal in Belgravia
Episode 2: The Hounds of Baskerville
Episode 3: The Reichenbach Fall

New cast addition: Lara Pulver as Irene Adler.

Yep, can't wait for this!

Series 2's teaser: (It's only like, 14 seconds but it's better than nothing, right?)

Didn't work. You have to just put in the string of letters and numbers that designates each video, not the whole URL.

Cool, thanks! I don't post videos a lot.

I'm not familiar with Pulver but she certainly looks like she could be a good Adler.

Enjoyed the first and last episode of last season so hopefully they can redo that magic. Second episode was boooring and crap was Moriarty supremely awful.

Moriarty was my only problem with series 1. Absolutely awful.
Part of me's still hoping he was the actual Professor Moriarty's younger brother (who in the stories is also called James)

I doubt they could pull that off in a way that didn't seem cheap and annoying.

I can't wait until it returns. Cumberbatch and Freeman has just a wonderful chemistry together and I love the writing. A Scandal in Bohemia and The Hound of the Baskervilles are two of my favorite stories so I'm really excited for the episodes for those two.

Benedict Cumberbatch, that's all that really needs to be said.

But I'll say a little more, I'm looking forward to this series far, far more than Game of Shadows.

Finally something!

Man, I can't wait for this. I'm glad this introduced me to Cumberbatch. He's a terrific modern Sherlock.

I've read all the official Holmes books except the last one and I'm currently reading it. I don't recall a younger Moriarty named James, unless he's in this story in which case I'll find out.

I'm looking forward to this series. The first one was a fun and modern take on the original stories and interesting how the parallels match so well from then and now.

He's mentioned in The Final Problem and The Valley Of Fear.

I'm reading The Final Problem so that explains it. That's also the last book written chronologically by Doyle. I don't remember the reference in The Valley of Fear but there are over 60 stories so it's not hard to forget.

The Final Problem was supposed to be the last one, but popular demand (and a huge amount of money!) convinced Doyle to bring the character back. At first with Baskervilles (which does indeed take place before TFP) But then with The Return Of Sherlock Holmes, which chronologically takes place after his 'death'.
The Final chronological Holmes story, I believe, is His Final Bow.

(Sorry, I'm just a huge Holmes-Geek! )

I finally caught this today on Netflix and must say it was superb. The writing, dialog, and chemistry between Cumberbatch and Freeman had me hooked right from the start. I don't watch tv shows usually but this will be one I'm really interested in this fall along with Walking Dead.

I finally got around to finishing it off (yeah I know it's only three episodes... don't judge) and it was INCREDIBLE!
