I didn't like the ep so tonight, and I really wasn't keen on the blonde. Then again, i'm part of team Kono , so i'm biased. Kinda ironic to see Sizemore play a cop given his run ins with the law.

it was a nice episode, good intro to the new lady, sucks kono is pretty muched screwed. Also i have a feeling steve knows something isnt right with kaye and oh look conventiently the bf/fiance is possibly alive.

Sizemore is very talented when he's clean. I would assume he's clean now. If he relapses, they will write him out of the show.

After tonights episode (which btw I thought was 'okay'...a little too cluttered for my tastes.) I am almost certain that Kaye is working for Wo-fat reluctantly. Its pretty clear that she does indeed care for Mcgarrett and the rest of the 5-0 team.

The obvious scenario is that Wo-fat is holding her fiance' hostage somewhere...or at least wants her to believe that so she'll cooperate.

I'm willing to believe in the latter and that he's simply playing her.

Couldn't Wo Fat have found a better use for the mole than be a getaway driver? Why risk her getting seen with him.

It was a shocking twist though.

Yeh its the Vesper Lynd scenario. She's doing it because Wo Fat is using the boyfriend as leverage or very possibly lying about the boyfriend being alive.

Also, Larisa rocks the short hair look really well. Like that really hot girl next door you want to date.

Siby, obviously Wo Fat wasn't worried about being seen. He went into a maximum security federal prison with only a uniform disguise. His connections clearly run deep and he doesn't have to worry about being seen.

I figure if he could orchestrate the guards to allow Hess to go into a gym area and overlook Hess attempting to murder McGarrett, he could probably have cameras disabled or tricked when he goes into a prison. Wo Fat I imagine has infiltrated and corrupted Hawaii's infrastructure.

I mean think about it, all the corruption in the Hawaii Police Department we saw in the first season. Wo Fat probably had something to do with it.

The story wasn't so good this week but it introduced the new character well, shame they made her dye her hair, she was hotter on Happy Town, but you can tell she wants McGarrett to bring the thunder!

Poor Kono, I felt sorry for her sitting all alone outside that office, I mean Steve was in on that robbery as well.

Next weeks looks cool, Terry O'Quinn back, someone killing off Navy Seals, and McGarrett doing a Moonraker.

Just saw the episode, and although I'm on Team Kono I don't dislike the new blonde (Lori Weston), but I'm very bummed to see Kono getting knocked off the law enforcement and Five-O. I also found it hard to believe that the new governor couldn't do anything to commute her sentences, and given that Steve was also in that scheme, to have Kono punished but not him isn't really fair (I know Kono was caught because of that witness, but still).

I'm glad to have this growing evidence that Kaye was helping Wo Fat probably out of reluctance, so she can save her fiancee. However, if that's the case, how come she was checking Steve's files while the team was gone? What was she looking for that Wo Fat can use?

So, when do you guys think Steve and Lori will hit the sack?

I still do not understand how they can go ahead and try to prosecute Kono.

Correct me if I am wrong.

-All the money was there. (even though the serial numbers might not have matched)

-Kono left no prints or other evidence at the actual crime scene (because she was outside keeping watch)

- Only "evidence" they have is some only lady putting Kono close to the scene, but who is to say Kono was there at the time them money was taken. They have No idea when it happened.

-Kono has had no big money deposits her bank account or has made no big purchases, again no proof of being a suspect.

So I really can not figure out the ending of the last episode at all as they have zero Evidence.

Frankly, I don't understand why Kono can be convinced either, but I just assume that they need to do it so they can introduce Lori and gives her assignments that Kono used to do. They also have Kaye leave the team so Five-O is a 4-member team again.

I don't really care for the other 5-0 members letting Kono take the fall for this.

They all did what they did to try and save Chin, but they all played a part except Chin.

Just seems dishonorable to me.

And yes Steve is just as guilty as Kono but number 1, I can't see Kono wanting to narc on Steve and 2, if it's shown thy were all involved, it will not only mean the end of 5-0 but their careers as well.

Kono's taking the fall because she was the only one identified to be there...frankly I can't see what 5-0 would be able to do to clear her name other than confessing their part and also being stripped of their badges...which in the end doesn't help anybody.

It's a tough situation but there's really not much any of them can do...so you suck it up and simply continue the job.

I just don't know why there has to be a consequence of that operation, and only Kono takes the fall. Storywise, it just seems like a way for the writers to introduce Lori at Kono's expense, as she was largely absence in episode 2. I hope they won't continue to marginalize her character on the excuse that she's out of Five-O and we are treated for a couple of scenes of her surfing and sulking over her predicament.

Btw, where is Danno's wife & daughter since last season's finale? Ever since they boarded the plane to NJ, supposedly came back (according to him), these two have not been seen in the show.

How do we know that Kaye is telling the truth about her fiance? Maybe she's making the whole thing up? Who knows. She definitely was still looking for something to give to Wo Fat. But if she is helping out of reluctance, I'm sure she'll try to help McGarrett later on if she feels that Wo Fat is taking things too far. 5-0 will no doubt feel betrayed though.

Kono is sidelined to allow Lori to be introduced, but it's also part of the plot. She will no doubt be redeemed later on and brought back on the team.

Nice to see the Sgt Duke Lukela cameo again at the beginning, but why don't they have him feature a bit more? He was an actual member of 5-0 in the original series in the later seasons. People won't even get that he's meant to be the same character unless they remember his name being mentioned at the end of the last season. The actor doesn't exactly look like someone who would eventually join the team though.

Yeah, I read that before. I'm not sure the original Chin Ho, Kono or Duke would get main roles in a series like this today though. Maybe supporting roles like that large Samoan shaved ice seller, but not as one of the main cast. The main cast tend to be younger and more attractive now.
