I'm really liking Hoard mode, more than I did in GoW2. There seems to be a tiny bit of strategy involved and I like that

I love Horde mode way more this time,TDM is good But I have much more fun with with the intensity of Horde&Beast modes!!

The frustrations&challenges for these online modes are there But it's in a fun way for me,I could be one of the few ones with sucky amount of kills with many down-times&deaths But in the end of each round..I'll be left with a HUGE smile!!

Horde Mode in this one was obviously based off of Call Of Duty's Zombie Mode. With how you purchase things & what not

How eff'ing greedy of them was it to sell weapon skins? $3 for a skin set?? Unbelievable.

Spe
aking of which I ended buying three sets because I'm so compulsive.

Yeah, I keep hearing that Hardcore is the difficulty to play at for people who are used to the series. Normal is said to be too easy.

Will I be able to delete the Beta save after I put Gears 3 into my Xbox?

Yeah, so what Transformers ripped the idea off too, didn't it. Will always prefer Gears to Call of Duty.

You complain about it, but then you buy them? You're only encouraging this behavior from developers by doing that.

I was half joking when I posted that, but I really am compulsive when It comes to that sort of thing. Same reason why I paid someone $10 for 10th prestige and all challenges on MW2. I know it doesn't help me at all but I can't not think about it. I start thinking about it and get all fidgety and start biting my nails.

I honestly don't think the little $3 sets of weapon skins are that big of a deal. I know in the long run if you keep buying them they'll get pretty expensive. But some of them are pretty cool and it's only 3 bucks which is not a dent at all financially.

What do they do? Are they just skins?

Just skins, the 3 dollar ones have animations on them.

Hmm, not sure if that's worth it for me. I'm completely fine with the free skins that you can unlock. More interested in killing folks than impressing them

Got to say, I'm lovin' Sandbar. So sniper friendly, which i'm pretty good at in this game. Went on a 12 killstreak on the lookout with the Lancer/Longshot combo.

EDIT: Funny skit they just had on Conan featuring the game.

Don't worry, when Modern Warfare 3 comes out, i'm sure that will be a varied, breath of fresh multiplayer air, right guys?

Get better and it won't be so frustrating.

Just played the campaign through a second time with a buddy tonight. Some parts are more annoying than others but all around I love the campaign

I was playing horde solo, just planning to go up to wave 10 or so coz I'm trying to unlock the infinite ammo mutation. But around wave 6 someone from my FL joined. Then one of his buddies joined and us three ran it through to wave 50... I didn't realize until we were done but it took FIVE F**KING HOURS!!
