I would rather keep the other SUPER heroes in their own films yet a pop in or two from S.H.I.E.L.D.
You figure if something happens in Iron man it might effect what happens in Thor or visa versa. I'd rather keep that hint at the other films and keep the group movie a group movie.

Definitely SHIELD, with explanations on why the other Avengers are busy. Maria Hill, I think, could be a great thing to build up. Obviously Agent Coulson. Save Fury for when you really need him, and you will need him later.

SHIELD will have some sort of presence in any Iron Man movie I think. Whether its a physical cameo from Coulson, Hill, or Fury, or there is a computer screen or paperwork with the SHIELD logo, it will be there.
I would hope they keep IM3 all about IM and leave the other big-time heroes at home. I wouldn't be surprised if War Machine had some part in it, but let it focus on Stark and his enemy for this film. |
