Is Alfred Australian? He sounds like Mel Gibson in The Beaver

Is there a (legal) way to watch this online, like maybe an official site somewhere or Hulu-esque deal? I missed it on TV.

Itunes is a possibility but it costs, patience is virtue when they hit DC Nation website and whatnot.

Yeah, I don't want to pay for it on iTunes. Maybe I can just catch the next episode.

It started off really well I thought,But then it quickly went south.
HATE what they did with Alfred.

I checkec tumblr and i see alot of people hating on Alfred, why? It's a modernized take on the Butler, yes, it's more militarized, but that's what Batman would want, thats what they should be doing.

I actually liked the first episode. I still hate the design of Batman, but other than that the animation was pretty smooth and the fights were pretty cool. I like how Batman moves.

You might want to add "Transformers Prime" too

They're basically the same 3D animation format. Don't expect alot of cars and street crowds for "Beware the batman" as it costs alot to render.

Really enjoyed the episode. Really love how they portray Batman and that it isn't the normal villains. Wish they had animation on par with Clone Wars but that'd be very expensive. Alfred is very different take but I'm on board with it. I wish he was working alone and there was no Katana

I really enjoyed the first episode. It has a lot of potential to be a classic show.

What I liked/disliked:
- The intro song, although it was too short.
- I liked Batman's voice, it sounded menacing.
- I don't like the top heavy design of the male characters. They have these huge shoulders, girly hips, and pencil legs.
- The change to Alfred is going to take getting used to but I think it can be good. I do want him to call Bruce "Mr. Wayne" or "Master Bruce".
- Like Transformers Prime and Green Lantern: TAS the show feels empty and sterile. There aren't any background characters and the environments look too clean.
- I really liked the design of Wayne Manor. It looks really cool being on an island with a wall around it and such. Feels like a fortress and shows power looking down on the city.
- I liked that they showed Bruce getting hurt and it impacted his actions. I think they need to keep focus keeping Batman as a normal human rather than make him invulnerable like he was in Batman Beyond. I know the suit protects him but it shouldn't be to the levels it did.

Is the girl at the end the new Robin?

Overall I really enjoyed the show.

That's Katana. She'll be his partner of sorts. So kind of like Robin

Except she's nowhere near as awesome as Robin.

The Alfred thing was a bit hard to swallow at first, but I ultimately decided that it was pretty bad ass.

I watched the episode. It was alright, though nothing spectacular. Whether it's the CGI worlds or something else, I didn't find there to any real atmosphere about it. Though it is something different. I'll keep watching.

Like many, I was skeptical about this show when it was first announced and then started getting more details about it, but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, the stylistic choices takes getting used to, and I didn't care for the visual look they chose for Alfred in that he looked like a beefier Lex Luthor, but overall, I thought it was pretty darn good. The usage of CGI definitely allows for smoother and impressive action sequences, and I thought the changes they did for this particular adaptation of Batman--Alfred being a retired MI6 agent, Katana introduced as a new bodyguard for Bruce, the use of lesser known villains (although I definitely liked Professor Pyg FAR more than I did Mr. Toad), etc.--actually work quite well. If the goal of the first episode was to get people to take a chance on this reinterpretation of the Dark Knight Detective, then I say mission accomplished.

I liked the episode.

Have to get used to Alfred being bald and still not really feeling Batman's head. I think part of it may be that it reminds me of the live-action suits where he couldn't turn his neck.

I enjoyed the first episode. I wish it was an hour premier though. I kind of like this Alfred version. After the injury, it appears he's becoming a version of the Alfred we know. I'm not sure about Katana. I would preferred Robin or at least Batgirl. I did like the Michael Holt (Mr. Terrific) cameo but all in all DC animation has not let me down yet.

Wow.

Intelligent and fresh take on Batman. I'll give it some time to judge properly, but it's pretty awesome so far.

Voice actor for Batman is spot-on.
