Horrible art, villains no one cares about, alfred with guns (why doesnt batman just carry guns then?) and some katana character. It has nothing to do with batman. I don't need more than that.

Okay.

And?

They were pretty close to being right. I personally can't stand it, and everyone I know thinks it's a joke. Embarrassing since I'm the big Bat-geek amongst my friends. :/

Well, that's fine, you are entitled to your opinion, but I really believe that you and everyone you know is distinctly in the minority.

Agh, I have never liked any of the Batman series' designs. Somehow they feel they have to draw the characters out of obvious geometric figures for children. And The Brave and the Bold's Adam West-esque design took me completely out of the series. I think I barely saw one episode.

I only liked The Batman design a little better and Batman: Gotham Knight, which I really liked.

I could dig an Alfred with a gun if they gave me a good serious design.

And ... well... that pig and the frog... it really looks like the Muppets Show there. And I'm Statler and Waldorf. Terrible.

Yeah. Mitefall is the last episode though there is still one episode that wasn't aired (don't know if it ever will be).

That last episode of Brave and the Bold....I could have sworn they were going to show a preview of the new CGI batman show....but I was suprised when they did the CGI batgirl instead. Which looked pretty good actually.

I do hope they do a CGI Batman Beyond or even a Nightwing series at one point.

dont get the kick up about Alfred with a gun, he's used them numerous times in the comics and other cartoons

hell it's even brought up in his bio in arkham city, now if batman was carrying i can see people kicking up.

It's legit, a rejected idea by Jeff Thomas and Celeste Green:

http://jeffandceleste.blogspot.com/2...tham-high.html

Looks like someone on deviant art added his take on the characters but the idea/art is form Thomas and Green.

VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

Yeeeeeeeeah..... Word to the wise, CN. It's probably not a good idea to tease a non-existant series when it looks FAR better than what you're actually going to be giving audiences.

I do like the style there more than "Beware the Batman," which looks like something that'll likely look better in 2D than 3D.

Can't we just get an R rated Batman series like HBO did with Spawn years ago?

Kurtwood Smith (RoboCop, That 70's Show) to play Lieutenant Gordon:

Good choice, but I'm a bit disappointed they're going with the "Year One" Batman stuff again, rather than a more established take.

EDIT: Can't post link.

Did you stop reading the comics after Alfred used guns too? In the comics Batman actually doesn't mind Alfred using a gun when under threat, seeing as he's really goddamn old.

What would an R-Rated Batman show (I'm assuming you mean adult, since R isn't a rating for TV shows) have to offer that a standard Batman show wouldn't? Keep in mind what the other Batman cartoons and movies have already gotten away with.

Yep... Kurtwood Smith will be voicing lieutenant Gordon.

Quote:
"We just started. We've only recorded two, before Christmas. I like the general thrust of the show. It's early in the Batman story. Commissioner Gordon isn't even Commissioner yet, he's just Lieutenant Gordon. He doesn't trust Batman, even though they kind of end up helping each other out on an early case. Batman, in a lot of ways, is learning his way, and the relationship between he and Alfred is developing. It's fun and it's kind of straight in that regard, as opposed to being campy. I think it's going to be good, but it won't be out for at least a year or so."
Interesting choice... I've only really seen him in a few movies and as the voice of Bennet in The Zeta Project.

This whole early in the career thing is getting a bit tedious but I don't know... could be interesting.
