Okay, he seems dark enough in this picture, but I definitely missed the logo.

I can count one scene that was actually good: birth of Sandman.

It's a Spider-Man movie, that's one thing
They got the Green Goblin stuff right, they nailed the character right in this movie I love the costume and board, they looks so good, not goofy, and the board made maneuvering between buildings more awesome, that fight scene on the streets is fantastic Sandman transforming Train fight Eddie Brock/Venom That scene with Eddie in the Bugle A funny Spider-Man movie Great fight in the penthouse How it Should Have Ended version of it I agree on this one, can't see why some loved the movie costume but hated it when it turned black

I think the perfect scene in this movie (and it's almost a shame how perfect this scene is compared to the rest of the movie) is when Peter humiliates Brock in front of everyone at the Daily Bugle. That couldn't have been done better.

Another amazing part of the film, IMO, is the birth of Sandman.

The whole movie is good, it has its flaws, but the same goes for TDK. People tend to overrate Batman and step on Spider-Man for some reason when it comes to games, animation and movies

It's about the only scene in the movie most people agree is good.

While I would have preferred a more muscular Venom, I'm glad that we didn't get this:

The opening fight scene between harry and peter is one of my favorite all time fight sequences, This probably has something to do with the fact that the Dynamic between Peter and Harry is greatest thing the Raimi films do. It was a tension that had been built up over five years, seriously it was the film I had been waiting to see. After the film takes the plot away from that dynamic I became upset. Still though its hard to find such a kinetic and emotionally charged scene in the trilogy.
That and the extreme sports New Goblin looks great even if it wasn't comic inspired.

Yeah, I definitely noticed the resemblance when I first saw Venom in S-M3. I remember Raimi mentioing at SDCC in '06 that they borrowed mainly form Mcfarlane, which was thankfully obvious. However, I do think they took the size from Romita Jr's.

Indeed. I didn't mind the size at all, tbh.

But, S-M3 has at least twice as much action as 2, and I was reading that they were hard pressed to finish all the CG work in time for release, that may have been a big factor in terms of quality comparison. Even so, I am starting to think it is the better fight sequence, that is, if you don't count the whole part with Spidey trying to stop the train, which elevates the Spidey/Ock train sequence to it's truly classic status. I won't go on about 'positive aspects' in general, but I'd say this movie has the best action sequences out of any superhero movie yet made. Last edited by Thebumwhowalks; 10-15-2011 at 07:56 AM. |

It's like the Bruce-dying Alfred scene in B&R. No one can deny it's good. |

I'm in the minority who loves how Venom looked in the film. i loved that he wasn't a steroid monster whose tounge made im look liked he belonged on a Kiss album cover. I love how he was just as lean as Spidey which makes sense. He's a mirror version of Spidey, so he should mirror him in size. (not that I hate the comic Venom far from it).

And TDK is one of my top 3 all time favorite movies, Spider-Man 3 goes below that by a few steps
