I got nothing from White Flood or Black Powder.
Have not tried Animal Pump or Jack3d.

The stuff pretty much doubles the protein and fiber and alot of the other nutrients I already take in.

I'm also taking the cod liver oil about twice a day and I also take a multivitamin once a day if I can.

I don't know how much my body is actually absorbing but I check my urine all the time and I seem to be retaining a lot of my nutrients...

Just ordered a set of these off ebay.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

I haven't been able to get to the gym to lift heavy. I can get it done with these! They adjust from 5 up to 100lbs. More than enough weight to keep me massive!

Word.
I have 5s-100s (hexagon dumbbells) at the house and when people come over, they ask "why do you have those?" LOL.

I remember when I bought them from Hibbett Sports, the salesperson asked the same thing and said that he didnt think I could get them to the car. Needless to say, I didnt ask for or need his assistance.

What sort of lifting routine would you use with those?

Also, if I'm trying to gain a bit of weight and want to track it as accurately as possible, I figure the morning right after getting out of bed is the best time to weigh-in. Should I do the weigh in while wearing only boxers/socks to get an accurate weight?

Yeah I couldn't afford all those individually. I don't mind taking off and putting the weights. I'm tired of not lifting heavy so that's why I got these. only $185!

I usually switch up my routines every so often. I get bored and so do my muscles. So my plan now is to put on as much mass as I can. So I will be doing a mass building routine.

Your weight in the morning will always be less. It's the longest time spent in the day between meals. I usually weigh myself in the morning and at night to see the difference. Your most accurate weight would be wearing nothing. But hey, scales are usually in the bathroom so who's lookin anyway?

It doesn't really matter what time you weigh yourself, as long as it's roughly the SAME time every day, for the sake of consistency. For women it tends to make a difference depending on their period, since water retention usually goes up quite a bit. But for men, just pick a time and stick with it.

Spoons told me that he heard/read that they simply have no affect on some people. I guess I am one of those people.

Sorry that I cannot offer a decent opinion.
Oh crap... it's a 50/50 shot then. Maybe you could get a placebo effect out of it, if nothing else, if you try? I don't know.

Do either of those do anything special or different from the others? Or is it just a simple "more energy, better pump" type deal? Cause I heard about one supplement that claims to clear lactic acid from your muscles so you can go harder without fatigue.

Nothing wrong with spinlocks. I have 2 sets myself.

Actually, you will be surprised how little I paid for my heavy ones. I already had 5s-30s, but wanted some heavier ones for the house. Hibbett was getting rid of all of their metal hex heads and beginning to sell only rubber heads. I went to Hibbett and saw that they were selling them for about .30 cents a pound (any sports store normally sells these from $1 per pound on up).

So, actually the pair of 100s was only $60. I also picked up 90s, 85s, 80s, 75s, 60s and 45s. The guy threw in the 45s and only charged me for one 60. So, I made out pretty good.

Here is most of them...

It's dumb, but my ego flinches a bit when salespeople offer assistance carrying things to my car. I know they have to ask and the people who need the help definitely appreciate it but there's still a nanosecond of pride swelling

Nah, most pre-workout supps contain the same stuff. Caffeine, B-12, maybe creatine, BCAAs, some glutamine, etc. What differs is the amount of each component; which you'll never know because it's listed as a "proprietary blend" to keep it a secret from competitors.

I've never looked into nor heard of any lactic acid supplements. My 90 secs of rest tends to get rid of it personally.

Now that I've shed a decent amount of weight, the vasodilation effects of pre-workout supps is noticeable.

You guys are strong. I doubt I could carry a pair of 100's, one in each hand to the car. Then again, I never even tried to lift them so who knows. Most I lifted was 30 kg (66 lbs) DB's for my dumbbell bench for 8 reps, but I don't use dumbbells much anyway.

Throw in a set of farmer's walks at the end of your shoulder workouts sometimes. You can't do it every week though, try it and you'll see why

Hey do you guys use weight gloves? I do because if I don't I'll tear my hands up. And I have enough calluses.

I don't think I've ever attempted to carry 100lb dumbbells, but I probably could. I use 90's for bent over rows.

I haven't used gloves in years. I used to but I realized I would never have as good a grip with gloves as I did with my bare hands.

I never have a problem with my grip when I wear them. If I don't my hands tend to get torn up, and my hands are not soft by any means. To each his own I guess.

Mine don't go anywhere. I just don't want anymore. Plus my hands always get torn to shreds when I lift heavy.

Even though I've only been taking it for a couple of months, taekwondo has considerably improved my flexibility. Can almost do a full front split now!
