Young Justice showed some signs of improving but is still underwhelming, especially when compared to Avengers: EMH.

I liked Young Justice, it's not as good as Avengers:EMH but it did do a better job portraying it's characters with consistent power levels.

And some people say YJ's the better show. They haven't even finished airing S1 episodes. All it's got on Avengers is maybe some better dialogue and animation, but that's all.

A:EMH needs to f****** air some new episodes!!!! Pardon my langauge but, it looks like January's a no go as well. At this rate, they may as well have cancelled the damn show.

Does anyone agree how ridiculous this is?

"They want the show to coincide with the movie." Big whoop. Knowing Marvel, the movie won't be anything like the cartoon. Just give us the cartoon!!

I'd say just animation. The dialogue is half the problem with YJ for me, between Superboy roaring like the Hulk most of the time, Miss Martian's "HELLO, MEGAN" catchphrase, and Robin's weird parsing of simple words.

I like Robin's weird phrasing of simple words, it makes his character even more unique.

It was funny the first time, but when he does it in almost every episode, it becomes annoying.

Here's another difference between YJ & Avengers: EM - I actually care about the Avengers, both as a whole & as individuals unto themselves. With YJ I care about maybe 3 of the 6 main characters - Aqualad, Robin (when he's not doing that thing where he cuts up words) and maybe Artemis (if nothing else she's more engaging than Miss Martian).

I care about all of the YJ characters, but not as they are in the YJ cartoon.

Didn't he do that, like, in one episode?

If the only thing we have to complain about a show are speech quirks that don't even show up every episode, then we're in good shape.

Anyways, April is way too long of a wait for new Avengers, especially for a Doom episode. And this Marvel block deal doesn't look as appealing as DC Nation, with only EMH looking interesting (Ultimate Spider-Man looks incredibly dull so far, and not a big fan of the premise for the Hulk show).

I have plenty of other things to complain about for YJ, but I've already mentioned them in other threads when I was still making an effort to keep up with the show. After about 3/4ths of a season where I still wasn't enjoying more than about 10% of any given episode, I figured it just wasn't for me and quit watching. To each his own.
