Young Justice's heroes are more consistently powered than A:EMH's heroes though, I know it's not as important as proper characterization but it's still fairly important.

I don't know, I'm kind of okay with sacrificing a little consistency for some really awesome moments. It's not so bad on Avengers, either. I mean, no one's randomly sprouting new powers every episode or anything. People may seem relatively stronger or weaker or tougher in different episodes, but that's fairly true to life. Two boxers could go at it on two different occasions with two different results due to a multitude of subtle factors.

Yeah I see what you mean, but things got a little absurd on a few episodes though (ie, Hulk being knocked out by missles from a miltary vehicle).

I don't see anything inconsistent on depictions in Avengers.

Makes you wonder how long we'll have to wait for season 3, if one will even happen.

With the original creators gone, I could picture them doing a spinoff series if they decided to do more (e.g., Justice League Unlimited, Ben 10 Alien Force, Batman: Gotham Knights), especially now that the show has already reached 52. Avengers Forever, perhaps ? They could just as easily retire the Avengers until it's time for a new movie and then focus on that Agents of SMASH show but hopefully that won't happen.

I'm not holding out any hope whatsoever for a season 3. The original creators are out and Loeb's probably got plans of his own. I could see him closing the book on Avengers and focusing on a new series featuring whatever characters will be in Marvel's movies next year instead.

Eh, 2 seasons at 20+ episodes per season is better than a lot of shows get these days. We'll always have the DVDs.

That's not absurd at all. That has happened. It wasn't enough to beat him anyway. After all, Hulk's power level depends on his anger.

And the fact that it doesn't kill him still shows he's incredibly strong.

They could always give it to Dini, he's already working on the USM toon and the new Hulk cartoon.

He was unconscious, last time I checked being knocked unconscious qualified as getting defeated.

that's sad but true.
I don't know why they handed the series over to Loeb.
His last good comic book was over a decade ago.

Probably because he sleeps with the right (or wrong) people.
