Eh, I don't think it's necessary. I certainly don't think it's warranted. Sure, I've talked to most of my past significant others about it, but it was out of mutual interest, not because I felt I deserved a detailed history of their sex lives. If I knew they were uncomfortable with the topic, then I'd respect that and not talk about it. Of course, there's the exception of knowing about potential diseases and/or complications. But that's not what we're discussing, really.

Yeah. No potential diseases. I get tested regularly. Well not so much since this whole monogamy thing, but before then. Also he's not being a dick about it or anything. I mean he's not pushed the question so far that I've been unable to change the subject or anything. He just seems curious, although he has brought it up a couple of times.

I'm kind of worrying now that if I tell him about my past he'll tell me about his and I really don't want to know.

I finally gave in and talked to Olly about my exes and number of sexual partners and stuff on Sunday. He told me a little about his past, but after a while it started making me feel like a complete whore by comparison so I stopped him. It was reasonably unpleasant, but the world didn't end and we didn't break up or even fight so I can't really complain.

The one thing I found out that was weird for me was that he had a girlfriend for three years up until he was like 17.

That's why I feel neither partner should bring it up. It's like lobbing a hand grenade in the middle of your relationship; it brings no insight and value, and can only serve to make things awkward or worse. There's just no point to such inquiries.

I have to admit, I'd have preferred it not to have come up, but now its done with and hopefully wont come up again. Thankfully its not really been awkward, we've pretty much carried on as normal truth be told.

There are benefits. From what I've seen on TV, a gay guy and a girl roommate will result in hilarious weekly shenanigans.

But seriously though, it might be cool. I would never give up women, because they can make me laugh, though sometimes unintentionally.

...so apparently my older sister (the one who is gay) has been "cured" of her homosexuality when she was reborn and "saved" a couple of months ago.

I had a friend whom I was romantically interested in and was in me who got 'cured'

Well, she made an offensive comment earlier tonight using a gay slur and saying that seeing "two q****s together kissing is disgusting and nasty". This comment coming from the same woman who had a long-term relationship with another woman and actually had a committment ceremony with this woman that was witnessed by my parents.

...but now she's been "saved" and "cured".
