They do want Kyle. But they have four seasons planned, so I imagine he'd come toward the end if it makes it there.

The Halloween episode, airing October 27th, is titled "Prisoner of Sinestro"

Also, DC Nation's Facebook posted a trailer for the rest of the season. It has:

Sinestro, still a Green Lantern, atop the Interceptor. Guardians and Razer fighting the Anti-Monitor and Manhunters. Guy flying with Tomar-Re and Chaselon And Hal as an Orange Lantern wearing several rings.

I'm guessing he'll do something douchy to piss the public off, making Hal "one punch" him in front of his former adoring fans.

Even though he already sort of did "one punch" Guy in today's episode.
