What the hell Capcom? They actually nerfed Wright's Press The Witness assist in Turnabout mode And yet probably didn't even touch Wesker, whom gets the most complaints and was already powerful enough without that ridiculous sunglasses buff.

Capcom I usually support the choices you've made regarding this game and usually defend you, but you've really dropped the ball with this one. Unlike Haggar and Hsien-Ko, being able to get that assist takes effort. And outside of Turnabout, Wright isn't exactly high-tier, so having an assist like that should have been a trade-off.

How about actually not nerfing characters that don't deserve it and buffing some characters that could use one. For instance Rocket Raccoon could use a health buff. Regardless of how small he is, he isn't powerful enough to have about the second lowest health in the game. Characters with low life are usually justified, such as Zero, Strider, Vergil, and Akuma. And the hitstun of his moves could also be increased a bit.

In all seriousness though, it sounds like the change was just because everyone was using PW just as a tron/haggar/akuma assist, rather than using him on point with all his turnabout tools. Seems like they went to a lot of trouble to make PW work in this game, and they're not happy that everyone is just using him as an assist, so they changed it. Apparently they made it easier to get into turnabout mode, so that sounds pretty fair to me. I have a buddy that abuses me with his on point PW, so I know it can be done.

Also, if you've run into some pretty decent raccoon's online, you'd know why his health is so low. I was even questioning Strider's health, until I saw some of the stuff Clockwork was doing last night at SCR. He played so beautifully against Noel Brown, too bad he got level 3 x-factored.

They don't need to nerf any characters, they need to nerf x-factor.

I don't think Magneto will have an alt now. He'll probably just not have one. Considering everything has been on the disc so far and was just basically an unlock code. That's one reason I'm not holding my breath for DLC characters.

I want his new costume to be similar to his First Class outfit. That's the only Magneto costume I like besides the classic one. But I doubt that would ever happen, Fox probably owns the rights to that suit or something.

haven't been able to try it yet......maybe later tonight...how does it work...do the cards automatically change/alter attributes for your character(s) or do you need to perform a move/combo?

costume wise...I'd like a Raccoon City/Stars Chris & Jill, 90s Storm (or MvC2 basically), Ultimate Magneto (and not just a palette swapped version, the actual outfit)...well...mostly those...

finally got to try the Galactus mode...big letdown...

I can't wait for this upcoming week off for xmas. I'll be at my folks who don't have high speed internet, but I'll be bringing this game along so that I can finally hit training room for an extended period of time (I like playing the game too much to go into training room when I play it normally).

I've been able to get by and do decently just based on a fundamentals and decent combo/reset ability, but I'm definitely not using/abusing any advanced tech for my characters, and I aim to change that.

Top priorities:

Wesker H/gun loop reset/mixup
Better Spencer mid screen combo (I'm still just doing air series into grapple into bionic arm, so lazy, as there are a ton of better ones that do more damage and carry your opponent to the corner)
Better Spencer mixups using his upwards diagonal ziplines, and getting better at using his overhead (I always have a problem accidentally doing piercer when trying to move from crouched normals to forward-H)
Nova javelin resets and javelin tagout combos
Finally get down Nova's H loop
Get solid with Wesker's extended combos in case he winds up alone (focusing on doing everything with glasses on in case that gets nerfed)

The idea of doing "work" for a video game in order to play it stills feels wrong to my brain, but I really need to do it if I'm going to get anywhere in this game. I ceilinged out at 4th lord in Vanilla, since I couldn't beat the barrage of cosmic and master lords you get paired with at that point, so I'd really like to change that.

This will also be the first time I actually have a thought out answer for when people ask me what my new year's resolutions are, with the added bonus of people not knowing what the F I'm talking about.

I plan on getting good with Wolverine. All of my other friends have a top tier guy they use so I might as well use one too. Besides that I want to try & main Frank/Deadpool/Hawkeye/Nova/Ryu & maybe Haggar.

I sorta wish this game didn't have such an awesome roster, there's too many characters I'd like to use.

Once you find all 3 good pieces if evidence, you have to enter the next mode (by pressing down, down S. I think), once in the second mode you have to hit the opponent (or their assist) with an OBJECTION! To do that just press Forward Heavy.

I bought this yesterday with the Gamestop gift card my brother got me for my birthday. I played it a bit and enjoyed it, but it sucks that I don't have a phone outlet in the room where my 360 is, so I gotta go get a wireless adapter to play online. Oh well. I'm rusty as hell anyway and need the practice. lol

Yep, you can also jump and hit down plus heavy. It comes out real slow for the jumping version though, I think you might need to hit it while you're still on the upward part of your jump if you want it to hit them while you're coming downward.

got it for xmas, and its still a love hate thing with this game, i love the idea and the fun, but i hate and i mean hate the fact thats its still unfinished and that its so cheap

i hate the fact they still didn't fix galactus or his heralds, i still nothing wrong with the boss being a challenge, but one hit that wipes out all 3 characters is pushing it
