I just wanted to follow up on Ginger Elf's reminder that today is the last day to submit your nominations for the 2011 SuperheroHype! Awards! The nomination process officially closes tonight at midnight. After midnight, the elves and I will begin tallying the remaining nominations, finish up this year's participation list, and send out the official ballots. The ballots are expected to be sent out via PM sometime tomorrow afternoon.

It is most likely because you have been posting a couple of posts here and there in different sections of the forum, so have not made any great impact on folk's memories.
Now, that may not be down to the quality of your posts, it's just that most of the people who have been nommed, have been swamping the forum with posts in particular sections.
Next year, give up your social life, stay indoors all the time, and you might get a nom for a particular section.
Get a distinctive avatar, if you have one that makes fun of Wolverine or Superman that will score you big popularity points round here, and if you put something with the word 'creepy' in your signature, that will get you shooting right to the top of the social dungheap, haha.

btw, on an unrelated note, I want to win in my category this year, 'Dick of the Year', so please everybody vote for me, now, you might think this is a reverse psychology thing, where i don't want to win it so will ask for votes thinking no-one who really thinks i am a dick will then vote for me, but y'know, maybe not, maybe i do really want to win it, in fact, i am not really sure myself, haha.

Of course I want to win?! winning is everything, who cares what it is. I think 'Dick of the Year' is the one to watch this year, the 3 nommed dick s(ok to use that phrase in this context?) really have people who genuinely dislike them all round the forum, haha.

but then, i don't want people to think i want to win, i want them to think i don't want to win so i can win. so that is why i am saying i want to win. but then they might think i don't want to win, so am saying i want to win cause i don't want to win. so it's best if i just say i want to win, so they don't know what the hell i want and vote for me anyway.

For the record -

1. I have an active social life. I go out with my friends about 3 or 4 times a week, between the two jobs I work.
2. I do not stay indoors all the time - that's what Blackberry's are for
3. I don't have a particularly distinctive avatar, and it certainly doesn't mock Superman
4. I don't have something with the word 'creepy' in my signature.

So i'm going to suggest this is all just sour grapes.

Airwings, you just need a bit more time.

I was on the forums in June 2010, but I didn't get any noms last year. You can't expect people to have gotten to know you well enough in a year unless your participating heavily in the community forum, games, the lounge etc (which I kind of fail to do).
