There were some, but there weren't many toys for TDK at all. But for the most part in lines aimed solely at kids, and not at a mix of kids and collectors, there'll be one figure that's accurate to what's being represented, a dozen or more variations of the main character, either in a different colour scheme or with some weird armour, a few sidekicks, and only a few villains. It's dying out now, but back in the day, it was done as a marketing ploy for adults to go "I know little Timmy has the blue Batman and the black Batman, but he hasn't got the green Batman. That'll do for his birthday". It always annoyed me as a kid that it was basically impossible to find a Batman that was how he looked on TV or in Films, and that there were virtually no villains.

Agreed. Shame the pictures don't do it justice. But I'm sure most have seen it or own it at this point. Great buy though.

I've been away far to long and man i can't wait till June for the new Movie Masters. Hopefully EntertainmentEarth.com will receive these figures so i can just purchase them by the case. I gotta have that bat signal, it looks absolutely fantastic. I'm really hoping for battle damaged batman with half of his mask broken off after his scuffle with bane!

i'll tell you right now i ain't even going to TRY and find these in stores,and go through TDK fiasco again ( though i doubt it would be as bad as then - super-hot Joker figures scooped up by scalpers, stores not ordering enough, recalls)...as soon as bbts.com has them up for pre-order i'm ordering them...

Ive heard that the retail prices on Mattels figs was going up. I was at our local TRUs yesterday and they had rearranged all the aisles and started stocking new toy lines. While the new Batfigs arent out yet, they did have the older MM's. With a new price of $17.99. They had the basic line at $14.99.

I do believe you are correct. I was at target this morning and noticed that they too did a reset and they now have a peg for the batman legacy two packs which went from $29.99 to $39.09!!! Craziness i say

what's weird is,there's actually no listing for Series 2,just Series 1 and 3...but Blake and TMF are both listed seperately,so i'm assuming they'll be in Series 2....

Looks like the first wave will hit next month...hopefully lol Let the hunt begin!

So the first 2 are a given, Bats and Bane with the coat. Alfred was a shocker and long overdue. Any ideas on the mystery figure? Probably Talia like everyone is saying. But then we have Bats, Bane & Alfred again in Series 3. I'm positive we'll get a sleeveless Bane, but I'm curious about the other 2

even though they're listed as "Series' " ,part of me is wondering if they won't be actual new Series' of figures,but rather more like "refresh" waves with already released figures,and 1 or 2 new figures in the cases....

This is what i'm thinking as well. Just like with the past waves, there will be wave 1 with x amount of figures/asst and then wave 2 will mix it up with already released figures and throw in a new figure and then wave 3 and so on and so forth. EntertainmentEarth.com has these up for pre-order as well but have broken them down by waves not by series. I'm pretty much ready to pull the trigger on the pre-orders right now.
