Seriously, have they learned nothing on not giving/showing us good villains?
My excitement for this game died. The graphics aren't that great either.

For a game that is supposedly finished and is going through testing, they should have blown us away this night.

Just fire the marketing people.

That trailer is perfection.

Btw, if you look at :46 in the ASM game trailer, you can see a supposedly 1st person cut scene. So I guess they are working it in somehow.

Agreed... and on the bit where he's diving towards the ground?

Yeah, noticed that too. It'd be cool if it was indeed a part from 1st person gameplay/cutscene.

Know what I just realized? Beenox creates these game solely around cliches meeting Spider-Man.

Shattered Dimensions? Multiple dimensions.
Edge of Time? Time travel.
Amazing Spider-Man? Robots.

Boooo.

We need some real villains, if the robots are the main villains I'll be mad. I doubt Sony will want to use say Kraven or Chameleon. Use those guys!

What made you think that Sony might will not use them? Just wondering.

I think they look really good for a free roam game, could be better, but I'll wait to see how much they added to judge their graphics. Time taken to develop and whatsnot get in consideration

Maybe next we'll get clones?

I feel pissed enough to keep away from the game for now, but I will see later how it turns out to be, I hope there would be some stuff worth of great love

I don't usually like to say I'm right, but I was right ha ha! Yes!!! * Dances And people said I was wrong about Oscorp involvement. I think the robots are just one side of the story. After all the description says an "assortment of criminals" - I wouldn't necessarily define robots out of control as criminals.

For their own sake, the story needs to respect the characters, flawed as it may be

That and the mention of 'biological attacks' are keeping me interested.
I dislike how they chose to have the robots be the focus of the first teaser, but maybe they're holding out the real juicy stuff until it gets closer to the release date.
Cause I'm telling you, as I said here earlier, if the majority of this game consists of spider-man fighting robots I'm not going to buy it.
I'll probably rent it just to enjoy swinging around as spider-man, but that's it.

I hope the biological attack doesn't lead to Spider-Island or a viral attack

Yeah, just because there was a ****load of robots in the trailer doesn't mean those are the only enemies there will be in the game. Some of that concept art had normal thugs fighting Spidey, not that it should really be a worry. When you beat the story there will be no giant robots, that sounds good.
