Ah, now I remembered what you'd need to do to unlock him.
You'd start a game on the hardest difficulty. Once you got past the intro, quit to the main menu. Head into the cheats section and enter "ARACHNID" (which unlocks all levels and whatnot)... from here, go to level select, choose the Conclusion (final cinematic)... and voila. You've "finished" the game on the hardest difficulty in about 2 minutes and unlocked the Green Goblin.

The mission where you break into Oscorp... and have to deal with those robots was murder on difficulty. :|

Oscorp was such a big place, I always got lost. And then when I found the right way, robots. Robots everywhere.

That level was very hard, but pretty fun, IMO. I loved the battle with Vulture.

I use to always replay that one level where you first meet those flying oscorp robots, because it was one if the only outside missions (which are the ones I loved the most) but Spiderman 2 took that experience to the next level.

When I was a kid, I always gave up during video games. This was how I taught myself never to cheat.
But I did. Then later on, I discovered walkthroughs, so... yeah

I tried playing through the game on very hard once. I like challenging games, but after awhile, I just wanted to be done with the level. When I managed to beat the first two levels, I found the third level [where you fight OsCorps' robots in the air] impossible to beat. I may try it again at a less difficult setting next time.

I wonder if anybody here was able to beat SM1 all in first person mode? If so, then man you have patience haha I could never even finish one level with it on.

Hmm, maybe because of the console you played it on? What console did you play it on? I first played it on the xbox, and back then I didn't even realize how uncomfortable that huge controller was until when I go back to play it.

I once got stuck playing a level in the Chronicles of Narnia game. Six months later, I went back for fun, and proceeded to not only beat the level, but the rest of the game in one night.

Happens to me all the time. Only it usually happens the next day. I'll be so stuck, give up, and go to sleep. Then I'd wake up, and demolish that ****ing game. Like a boss.

Also, I was stuck on the opening level of that game for the longest time. Since it was made for a console, and, I assume ported to PC, where normally the tutorial prompts would be buttons (triangle, circle, etc), but instead it was:
A hand A mobius symbol A fist And something I can't remember. After getting stuck at the same damn pole for eight damn lives, I eventually discovered that it was G, H, Y, and J. |

Agreed! I loved exploding enemies with Pumpkin Bombs, attacking them with Razorbats, et cetera.
