Did you hear Aaron Rodgers response to Skip's constant criticism against him & saying he's less than Favre a week or so ago? http://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articl..._value/8134333

Rodgers, like most QBs, actually have to hear about the Skip's of the world & he says they take it personally sometimes. I'd say some of these eviscerations this season can be laid at the feet of guys like Bayless.

One day Aaron Rodgers will learn to win like Tim Tebow...

Maybe after he finishes this perfect season he can focus on learning how to win in the off-season...

If Tebow wasn't religious, haters wouldn't be quite so quick to hate.

I don't really harbour any ill-will to Tebow himself.

It's the unrelenting undeserved hype that I resent, and that's not really his fault. He's kind of just stuck in the middle of it.

Funny thing is, I think he completely realizes how ridiculous the hype machine is and tries to quell the idiocy and ESPN and the like won't have a bar of it.

He runs well and makes good decisions. His arm is just... well, I'd say mediocre, but that still overstates it. He doesn't really do too much wrong, the errors he makes tend to come from him just not having a good enough skill level.

I've never been one to cheer for a player who didn't play for my favorite team.

I never cheered for Elway, Montana, etc. but I find myself cheering for Tebow.

I understand all these "analysts" are probably talking about him ad nauseam, just change the channel like when they start getting into College Sports.

I feel the same as Hound. I really don't have anything against Tebow the person. I get a little annoyed with all of the praise (a lot which is not deserved), but that isn't his fault.

I do admit that the constant "Tebowing" gets on my nerve, but I don't see why he can't be criticized for not capable of passing as a starting QB on a NFL team, and his victories had alot to do with their underrated defense and a great kicker but he gets all the credit. And I'm not attacking his character, which I heard is quite stellar, but merely his ability as a QB.

As the Packers inch closer to a perfect season, I'm wondering when the masses will start turning on them.

Right now the media is too fixtated on Tebow to notice Packers' road to perfection imo.

In all fairness, Tebow's story is more interesting. A perfect season while impressive happened 5 years ago. Plus it really doesn't mean all that much unless it is capped off by a Super Bowl. There will be plenty of time for that should they make the Super Bowl in the two weeks between that and the conference championships.

Meanwhile, you have a team that started the season 2-5 that plugged in a new QB and has since won 6 straight to become first in their division. Playoff races are a more interesting story right now and the Broncos have a human element that makes it interesting. Hell, this kid's own coach and front office very vocally denounced him. Yet here he is, leading the team to victory. I am not drinking the Tebow kool-aide, but it is a compelling story.

For the record, I turned on the Packers about week 5. I like Rogers just fine but I love seeing the undefeated teams go down! I'd say that that doesn't apply for when the Bengals do it but then I'd have to laugh and spit soda out my nose.

The Packers have the benefit of only one recent win, no controversial issues (spygate) and I don't think their fanbase is as disliked out of it's own division. I think the only people rooting for the Patriots a few years ago were Northeasterners.

If they pull a Colts move and rest their starters in the final couple of games, you probably will see them go down.

Yeah but that's no fun. I want the first stringers to taste the defeat!

I hear ya. I think the whole "resting starters" idea is pretty lame.

Jets fan beaten, jeered over 9/11

I hope they'll arrest all of the suspects and throw them in jail in a New York prison.

I'm a little surprised as well that the Packers seem to be flying under the radar a bit. I guess it probably does have to do with the Patriots recently going undefeated. Not as big of a story this time.

The Packers and their fan base aren't disliked the way the Patriots were in 2008.

For the record, I've found them to be loathsome for about 30+ years.

The defense only became underrated after Tebow took over at QB. The team has played better with Tebow at QB. Period. There can be no argument about that. Zip. Zero.

Is Tebow an ideal passer? No. But because of his work ethic teammates show up to work out on days they have off. They stay longer.

An NFL QB's job is not to throw the ball well. If that was the case Jeff George would have had a better career. JaMarcus would be in the league. An NFL QB is supposed to lead a team to victory. Only Aaron Rodgers has done better.
