Elite quarterbacks have bad days. One game shouldn't change that.

He is expected to play tomorrow.

As a die hard ravens fan I am completely disgusted after what I witnessed. I hope the steelers win tonight because the ravens deserve to have to go on the road in the playoffs after that kind of performance with everything on the line. They made the chargers look like the 85 bears. Now I wasnt ready to hang this loss on flacco because up until his two picks the defense was getting raped by rivers but flacco's 2 picks sure didnt help. I dont understand how you put jimmy smith a rookie on vincent jackson and not give him help over the top. Ed reed was just wondering all over the backfield and I guess couldnt realize Jimmy needed help. Christ Im all the way in maryland and I could see jimmy was getting beat, Ray looked slow, D couldnt get pressure, Joe was scared to throw a deep ball, O line couldnt stop a nose bleed. This team only really plays good when ethier its the steelers or were up by 2 scores with the running game going. Just pitiful. I hope we dont face a sub par team in the playoffs.

I just think, overall, the Giants had a bad game and the Redskins went out there and played their hearts out because what else did they have to play for but pride?
Eli is solid. But he is not consistent. That is why I roll my eyes any time that I hear Eli Manning and elite in the same sentence.

Dude, you just one my award for Best Ravens Fan Ever.

Not sure what happened to Baltimore last night. I figured the Chargers would pull out a win, but I never expected them to decimate the Ravens like that, not that I'm complaining.

I take it your a steelers fan? more power to you, The ravens just seem to be afraid of success, christ were on the verge of sweeping the division and yet cant win the division. Its also like they enjoy going on the road in the playoffs. I love the ravens win or lose but you dont lay an egg like that on national tv especially when your in the drivers seat and control your destiny. I hope to god we fire cam after this season and make a run at someone like norv. If we dont fix these problems we will be one and done in the playoffs regardless where we finish.

Yep, Steelers fan through and through. You sound the way I did after your boys beat us down in week 1. I was ready to give up on the season after that game, lol.

As for the Ravens, I don't know what the deal is there. They usually play well but when they lose, they tend to look BAD. Some of the games where they've collapsed this season have been head scratchers, like that Jacksonville loss. I agree, they definitely need a new OC on that team. It's funny how much the Steelers and the Ravens mirror each other. The fans of both teams love the defenses but they all want to see the offensive coodinators get sacked, for obvious reasons.

Now, imagine if your a fan.

Charger fans love it when December roams because we win in dominating fashion against playoff caliber teams (such as The Steelers, Ravens, Colts, Patriots, etc.) but one often wonders, as a fan, why The Chargers don't play like a 14-2 team (even with third-stringers starting) throughout the season.

It's frustrating. We've got powder blue balls for heaven's sake!

Even though Chargers won 3 straight, I don't really see why the Norv Turner should be kept as the head coach, unless the team is perfectly happy for becoming a .500 ballclub in a very mediocre AFC West.

Btw, I hope the beatdown that Tebow & the Broncos suffered at the hands of the Patriots will silence some of Tebow's biggest fans (Skip Bayless, I'm looking at you).

Skip will say the broncos defense lost the game not tebow. He'll say tebow cant do it all by himself. why cant these analyst just admit it that tebow cant win a shoot out, he needs a close game against bad teams to make himself look good.

It is scary sometimes how close they are in terms of style and certain storylines. Can you imagine how many superbowls would have been won if you put big ben, ray lewis, suggs, woodley, reed, polamalu, ngata, wallace, ward, boldin, rice, harrison and heap on the same team? I still predict the ravens and steelers meet in the AFC title game this year despite what happens and who ever gets bye will go to the super bowl.

Yeah, it's become some sort of mathematical certainty that they will meet each other in the playoffs at some point. I have to admit though, that I hate to watch those games. They're nearly always nailbiters and while that's okay, the prospect of losing to your most bitter rival in the postseason just hurts. Fortunately (for me) the Steelers have come out on top recently. But anything can happen in the postseason.

Hey, I'll take the your welcome if the Steelers pull out the win tonight. I have a very VERY bad feeling that they are going to blow this game somehow. The Niners played like garbage against the freakin' Cardinals but those types of teams have a habit of beating the Steelers.

No Harrison, and....possibly No Big Ben could mean not good news. However, if they are smart they will sit Ben because the way he's been getting hit this season he could get knocked out for the season.

We'll see what the local news says at 4, 5, and 6. It'll probably be a game time decision. Steelers need to stop Gore and force Alex Smith to throw the ball...and hopefully throw interceptions. A LOT of interceptions.

Yeah, no kidding.

I don't think that Tim Tebow is allowed to refer to himself as a virgin anymore, with the way Skip Bayless has been fellating him.

If Im a team facing the patriots in the playoffs im not scared one bit. They have no deep threat to beat you. There defense is terrible, and cannot shutdown a passing game or running game to save there life. If you shutdown gronkowski and welker your golden on defense. All the patriots do is throw quick slants, screens or short passes and hope they bust one for a long play.

**** you. Marvel can have that award 'cause I ain't saying the Steelers deserve shiz but a Suh-esque kick in the dome.

Seriously though, I'm done venting, the nausea has passed, & I've come to terms with the fact that THIS is the team for this season. It's how they are, it's how they've been all season, & it's a dramatic shift from last season, so I can only hope Harbaugh gets them back where they need to be. It's not an injury or a lack of skill, those things can be improved over a course of a season, it's a mentality & it's going to take some real coaching in the off-season to change.

It'll be a sick sense of suspense to see what squad walks into the playoffs; World Beaters or Jerk Offs.

Maybe not. The way the Saints have been playing they might dominate through the playoffs, especially if Brees stays on fire. The Steelers still have to get some wins to get the # 1 seed and home field advantage. If the Steelers make the Superbowl I'll be pleasantly surprised. I think they are deep playoff caliber right now but they are too inconsistent sometimes, however, they always find a way to play their best football in the postseason.

I would love to see a Steelers vs. Saints Superbowl. And, of course, a Steelers victory.

So are the Ravens. The Patriots defense is incredibly awful. The Texans are new to the playoffs(with a QB who's only started a few games). The winner of the AFC West will probably only play in the first round. I think the Steelers are in the best position to make another run at the Super Bowl.

Yeah, I like the Steelers chances in the post-season if they can nab that first round bye and homefield advantage. I think they can win as a road team too if they have to, but they've been better overall at home. As for the other AFC teams...

The Ravens, like the Steelers, are inconsistent so it just depends on which Ravens team shows up in the playoffs.

I think the Texans are one and done in the post-season. They were pathetic yesterday and they just narrowly won their other games with Some Random Guy at quarterback. I don't see them making much noise.

I'll never count the Patriots out as long as Brady is healthy. I'd certainly LIKE to count them out, but given time, I think he can pick apart any defense in the league, even if he doesn't have a good deep threat. And guys like Gronk and Welker help make up for that.

The Broncos, if the make it, will hopefully fold in the first round and thus Tebow Time will finally end so that John Elway can stop ripping his hair out and focus on drafting a real quarterback in the spring.

If the Jets make it, I don't see them making a deep run either. They're inconsistent at best. And they deserve to choke or miss the postseason altogether because Shonn Greene has been dead weight for most of the year and has screwed my fantasy team multiple times!

If the Chargers make it in, I actually see them making a deep run. That win over the Ravens was impressive. If they keep it up, it will be tough for anyone to beat Marmalard and Craterface.
