What this show needs is to get away from Miami a little bit.
Give some kind of 'fugitive' sense, take Dexter away from his comfort zone.
I still like the show, the last season was more miss than hit, but it really needs to try something different.

yea they're wayy into his personal ****, i don't want him to be a family man. Him with Rita was understandable, but then marriage got a little weird, than harrison made it worse and now rita gone only Dex with the kids, i was like WTF! i almost feel like the creaters are putting themselves in a deeper **** hole

Yeah, we've already seen too much of his personal issues. Those inner monologues are getting a little bit repetitive. Luckily this season with Deb, we may have something different for him.

Bonus: Instead of one Big Bad, this season will have several — and a Ukrainian strip club owner named Sirko (Ray Stevenson) looks especially psycho.

Last season was terrible. But Deb knowing and now Strahovski coming on to the show is enough for me to keep watching.

Yvonne!

Even if the season doesn't turn out well I got a good reason to keep watching it. I'd had hope that this season the bad guy (or in this case, guys) of the season would take a back seat so they can focus more on Dexter & Deb now that she has found out, I'm sure they could find a way even with bad guys since they're half of the fun but I wish this season will finds it gears to get back on track after last season.
