Thanks for the feedback guys. I did toy with the idea of adding red to the bottom 2 corners but it bothered me that the other 3 characters were purely just faces so i wanted Ironman to be the same.

I was determined to make the shield logo work with the 4 characters, thankfully by using a bit of artistic license the hulk ended up working really well within the bird!

Based on the earlier comments Ive actually added some more red to ironman which i think really helps, he now has a more definitive jaw and it stops his face from looking so wide, so thanks for the suggestion!

Great image. I like how Hulk's hair is also the outline of the eagle. You don't see it at first, but when you do it's very clever.

Thanks for your kind words @boocherhix @Dark Raven

I try to get some kind of clever visuals into my work, i love the idea that somebody might be looking for a few mins before they spot something else!

Just to put the poster in context, its part of a set Ive been working on based on Marvel movies, Ive posted my take on Thor, Cap America and X-Men First Class below...

What do you call that style of visuals?

Not sure to be honest Rock Sexton, in a general sense, all of my work is vector based illustration art but I just experiment really. Each poster in this little series is different from the others, but hopefully all recognisable as part of a set.

I like them a lot. Definitely a unique approach, especially on here.

Sorry The_Shadow, it was available last year but is now sold out. I only do very small print runs, 10 of each poster, the Avengers poster will be available on my blog from 6pm UK time today, but the other 3 are sold out unfortunately.

Yeah It's like an Art Deco guys. Those posters I did earlier are like that style but MINE were supposed to be more like the Psychidelic look because the Avengers were born in the early 60's lol (like me)

There doesn't really seem to be a definitive answer i guess!
lol Not to mention TWO variations of the Eagle.
There's another more like the Comic book as well. lol think that one is mostly on things like Stationary and Trucks

Yeah the whole eagle issue was confusing! I switched it about 6 times before I got happy with the final poster! Hopefully people like the way it ended up!

Very cool work. Love the minimalist, almost Andy Warhol style posters.

Here's a quick question for you guys, how exactly do you make an image (i dont even know what its called) look like those minimalist posters from a couple pages back? I have an idea in my idea of a similar concept i just dont know what that technique is called. Please help, it would be much appreciated!

Not sure what posters you mean, but the majority of poster work these days is done using either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. It depends on if you are trying to create vector artwork (using Illustrator) or art made up of pixels (by using photoshop)

Im happy to answer any questions if I can be of help!

MINE were on page 6 starting with post 130. Venom had some on I think page 4 or 5 that inspired ME to make them.

The program I use is an old Photo SUITE. That paticular variation was aimed at Comic book artists and fans. It's like a cross between Microsoft Paint and a photo editor.
Basically all you do is Trace the siluette of the Character you want to do. VERY simple type of art anyone can do really.
