Just like the comics, only the movie venom had better motivations. LOL.

But...let's not forget,at least later on,the symbiote's influence. That thing would've driven Eddie mad with hatred.
Quite frankly, I have not seen a good reason in any incarnation, comics, animation, or film, for Eddie hatred of Pete/Spidey. They are all bad, weak, and not well thought out.

The way you saw it. Exactly. What we got in the film was a total mess that changed up Eddie's personality at the snap of the wrist. It didn't make any sense.

I remember seeing a TV spot for Spider-man 3 revealing the Giant Sandman figthing Harry and Spider-man and I rushed to the hype to explain what I saw and nobody believed me because I don't think we knew about it then and I was ignored. Told y'all!

Lol I remember when like, 9 minutes of the final battle was leaked online. (from a pirate copy of the movie, close to the release date)

I also remember a VERY blurry and almost inaudible FULL version of the mirror scene (where Peter sees a nightmarish symbiote version of himself) on YouTube. Only saw that thing once. Wonder if anybody has it.

No problem. Why couldn't the AMS trailer leak like that?

It would have been better than nothing.

If you spend any amount of time reading up on real life situations throughout history.....people hating others and not having a good reason for it covers about 95% of the scenerios.

LOL. It was a boring, predictable way to have Sandman fight Spidey. He could have done so many other things. I like the way, in the novelization, he formed a giant sand pile and started pushing down on Spidey and crushing him.

I hated giant Sandman. The retarded roars and the slow clunky movements of him. It reminded me of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in Ghostbusters.

Spidey shouldn't be facing giant enemies like that.

Exactly. Why would he take the form of a giant, slow moving mass? It makes no sense to try and fight Spidey like that...who is small, and extremely agile.

LOL. At least the Stay Puft Marshmallow man was cool and funny.

One reason I liked it was because it reminded me of a classic MTU with Spidey and Thor fighting 'the Living Monolith', so I was used to the idea of Spidey fighting a villan on that scale.
there was some great moments onscreen with the giant Sandman, the image of spidey sliding in the sand as he takes form, when Spidey is standing on the scaffolding as Sandman raises himself up, and nice moments with him and Harry dodging his swipes...it looked fantastic on the big screen especially, it was something completely different from every Spidey fight we'd already seen onscreen.
